  “Amazingly, fingers licking stuff 😋 Already planning a repeat at the next eat-out. We love the food. The variety of drinks was impressive. The service was faultless. It was not too busy when we went, which was good. The music was not too loud - we could hear ourselves, commenting on how impressive our choice had turned out.”

  “Yesterday I visited bar beach grill with a friend in hopes to try their bottomless brunch offer however we came too late (our fault). Nevertheless we decided we wanted to try the food and opted for the bottomless cocktails with our food. We ordered popcorn prawns and crispy squid for starters which were delicious and gave us high hopes for the food but these hopes didn’t last unfortunately. For mains we both ordered the sizzling surf and turf which included wings, prawns,lamb and rice or chips . This is where the disappointment started. The rice was good however the prawns tasted off and very stale, I couldn't even finish one prawn because they tasted expired, the lamb bites were bland and dry and the grilled lamb also had very little flavour. My friend noticed that the wings had some spice to it which was not mentioned on the menu(no spice rating) and spicy food makes her nauseous- she had only eaten half a wing and the most of the prawns when she noticed that she was beginning to feel very sick. When we asked if she could receive a partial refund for the mostly untouched food we were refused. My problem with this is as soon as we went into the bathroom she began projectile vomitting and then when we left she continued to vomit. I came back to complain and the servers were understanding but were told we could not receive any type of compensation even though we had complained prior about the food and now the food is lying in a liquid state outside the restaurant. Its just such a shame because we travelled from north london to south london and spent £70 each on food that was vomitted back up. If we were listened to prior when we first complained or even slightly compensated somehow i would not be writing this review but this trip to bar beach grill ruined our day and wasted our money. I can say the service was alright drinks came out a bit slow but they were decent and the black girl was very understanding but I know there was nothing she could do. Overrall, I give this restaurant a 5/10 and suggest u add spice ratings to all meals not random meals and also get fresher prawns oh and improve the lamb”

  “Came here on a bank holiday Monday, was quiet on arrival staff approached us on entry but did not seat us straight away although we had a booking. Went for option 1 on the brunch menu, lamb chops, Bbq short rib, jumbo wings and beef sausage. Lamb chops were very small, chicken wings had a chilli sauce on it (chilli sauce wasnt specified on the menu wouldn't exactly call them jumbo either), jumbo beef sausage was okay and the bbq short rib was 10/10 best thing on the menu. Had fries and mac and cheese on the side which was also okay. Service with the drinks were quite slow until, server Kayla started her shift. Kayla was very accommodating and very vigilant with topping up our drinks and those around us. Music was great and lively all genres played.”

  “My friends brought me here for my birthday. I was greeted by the manager who was so warm friendly and funny. There was also a lovely girl Nikita who served us as well. I had the bar beach meat platter I believe. It might be slightly different name. The flavours were flavouring👌. Only thing I would have liked to have spice as in hot 🔥. I couldn't taste any pepper and Im used to suya being hot spicy. The drink volcano something....so sorry I've forgotten the name but it had 3 different rums and it was niiiiice! And strong. My parting gift as it was my birthday was my fav sticky Toffee Pudding which I throughly enjoyed for breakfast as I was way to full from the meal to eat at the resturant. Defo recommend for date night, girls night or any night.”

  “The food was amazing! Me and my friends went to celebrate a birthday and they gave us a complimentary dessert with candles for her birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant was top tier and the music was vibes! Our waitress Ankita was so friendly and accommodating, she was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back <33”

  “I came here yesterday with 2 of my friends and we had booked a table for 2pm. It had a nice vibe when we walked in, very relaxing. The tables were a bit too close together, so luckily there was 3 of us and not 4, as the other seat could bearly move as the person behind needed more space. We waited almost 40 minutes after we ordered for our food, which i could not understand as it was not overly busy, but I did notice they also do takeaways. The food was sooo nice. I ordered the lamb cutlets that was accompanied with Jolllof rice. Salad and creamy slaw. The cutlets were big pieces, succulent and tasty, I thoroughly enjoyed them. The Jollof rice was seasoned well and was also flavoursome. I also ordered the mac n cheese for us to share. One of my friends had the short beef rib and the other had the surf and turf, both enjoyed their food immensely. I had the banana cake with custard for afters, and my friend ordered the sticky toffee pudding again very well chosen dishes, we loved it. My friends ordered cocktails both containing white rum, they did not hold back on the rum, they were very generous. We came out of there with full stomachs. I would definitely come back here again and highly recommend trying this place out.”

  “It was a short but lovely time here. The ambience and environment was so good. The background music made my experience an amazing one. The food here was very tasty, I had the hunters combo from the bottomless brunch and I had to order a second plate of the food. It's also not difficult to locate. Generally, I had a good time here. When next in London, I'll definitely visit again”

  “Amazing time with my friend at this establishment, before I even begin reviewing the food and our experience, I want to say a special thanks to Annie the person that attended to us on the day who was particularly so friendly, helpful, honest and very professional, she made our first time at Bar Beach Grill Lewisham even more memorable by her “human” approach! She is a very hard working and attentive person, she is basically the perfect example of the attitude and attributes you would want to see in a person that works in the food service and hospitality industry. Now on to the food, and it was simply delicious! And I mean every thing, from our starters to our mains, which all tasted so fresh, just be warned that the portions are very generous and of course we took our left overs back home. My starter was the squid which came with a light sweet chilli vinegar dip, as Iam the calamari queen, this was possibly one of the best that I have had in London, my starter was packed full of fresh and zingy flavours, served on a bed of salad and decorated with chillies, I thoroughly enjoyed it, my friend got the wings with a herb and garlic sauce, the wings which were grilled along with the sauce were just perfect (key word in this review PERFECT) for our mains I got the surf and turf with a side of jollof rice and I absolutely loved the way the dishes were presented, everything was seasoned down and cooked perfectly! My friend who is the seafood boil king, had absolutely no complaints, all the main ingredients within a seafood boil were present and there was PLENTY of everything too! he went with jollof rice and suya chips for his two sides, actually the seafood boil is more than enough to share between two people to be honest because it was a plentiful serving. I took a little taste of the seafood boil, here and there and of course it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For our drinks I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri and my friend got a pina colada, no complaints from us about the drinks, overall 10/10 experience and the food was just so good, the ambience was perfect from the moment we walked in. The only thing i would note is that, Bar Beach Grill Lewisham is very tight in the sense of size but the ceilings are very high, so I did not feel too claustrophobic, the music was great, honestly just the perfect setting for a meal. I rang beforehand just to double check on the parking and I was told that they use the Asda parking, the location of the restaurant is in the perfect place and it is easy to locate. Definitely a spot I would love to return to sometime in the future, we were all smiles when we left.”

  “From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was welcoming, enhanced by the music. The food was flavorful and came in generous portions, and the bottomless soda option was a nice touch. The only drawbacks were that the venue felt a little on the smaller side and our bill was mixed up with the previous table’s receipt. Aside from that, service was pleasant and the overall experience was very good — definitely a place worth visiting.”
