Customer Review Summary
The carvery draws the most consistent praise, with reviewers repeatedly describing generous, well-refilled meat and veg and calling it among the best Sunday lunches they've had, and one diner naming the Half Moon melt as a favourite. Close behind, several note the food arriving piping hot and homemade-tasting whether dining in or ordering delivery for a large group, and the venue's dog-friendly welcome comes up more than once, including free treats offered to visiting dogs. Value is mentioned favourably too, with one group of six spending well under what a similar meal would cost elsewhere. The recurring caveat is rude staff behaviour: multiple reviewers describe specific incidents, including a family told they were "trying to be difficult" and mocked over a hearing issue, a customer charged for tap water after being blamed for holding a door open too long, a family of four denied a larger table despite booking ahead, and a family of six blamed for a kitchen's wrong-starter mistake. Minor gripes include an overcooked steak that was promptly remade and a serving station layout that makes it hard to pass with plated food.

“Important info: The place’s kitchen closes at 8.30 pm(during summers) so it was confusing when we landed at place at 10pm for dinner (as G00gle listing suggests 11pm). thus this note so other could benefit from pertinent info. Place had a lovely vibe and some communal games were underway.”

“Sunday carvery delivery. Arrived ahead of time but still hot enough. Great portion size at a reasonable price.”

“I had my retirement meal there. There was about 32 of us . Food was lovely, service was a bit slow due to the large group.”
