  “Had a meal here tonight with the family and I have to say i wasn't very impressed with my meal. I had a burger and the burgers use to be proper smash burgers a few years back but now they are plastic and frozen ones and I am shocked tbh. The pitmaster burger is £28 and certainly not worth that. They used to do 3 proper smash burgers in them when the price was less and now they are 2 frozen burger and the price has increased drastically. I certainly wouldn't have it again and would opt for soemthing different like a platter which looked nicer. I am very disappointed in cattle and co as the burger quality has dropped drastically and qould deter me from coming back. As this is my local I have to say I have had better food for a fraction of the price in sandpiper brewers fayre.”

  “What a find! Just came across Cattle & Co whilst searching Google Maps for places to eat near our guesthouse. Loved it as soon as I walked in but the food was unbelievable. My only advice would be to seriously consider if you need a starter because the meal sizes are massive, and I have a good appetite. The issue that then raises is that the starters were delicious and I wouldn't have wanted to miss them, tough decisions. The staff were lovely, the food quality was exceptional, as long as you like smokehouse of course, but I would beyond a doubt, recommend to anyone visiting the area.”

  “We’ve visited Cattle & Co in Swansea several times and have always enjoyed the food and service, so unfortunately this visit was disappointing. On this occasion, there was no check-back after our mains arrived. More importantly, both the Pitmaster Burger and the chicken with mac & cheese had greaseproof paper underneath the food. Luckily, I noticed it when I pulled my burger apart, as it was too large to eat whole. We then checked the other main and found the same issue. When the plates were cleared, we raised this with our waitress, who was pleasant and took our feedback on board, saying she would mention it to the kitchen. We appreciated her response. The service overall, however, felt quite laid-back compared with our previous experiences in Swansea. We also felt that some of the attention to detail was missing — for example, the complimentary sauces were offered without any explanation, whereas previously the staff had taken the time to explain what was available. We’re always happy to give constructive feedback, particularly as we’ve enjoyed Cattle & Co in the past. Hopefully this was simply an off day and the issues can be addressed, as we’d like to return and have the experience we’ve previously enjoyed.”

  “Incredible place, went there this evening, historic building dating back to 1900. Super friendly and staff were brilliant. Extra positive is that the place is dog friendly and the portions for the price is fabulous. If you are a fan of Hickory's Smokehouse, you will love this place as in my opinion it is nicer. Couldn't recommend it any more 10/10 👍👏🏻”
