About Sam's Food
In Liverpool, Sam's Food is a takeout restaurant at 810 Queens Dr, open daily. The menu is wide, pairing charcoal-grilled kebabs and half chickens with pizza, burgers, wraps and Middle Eastern dishes, so one order can mix several styles. The meats cook on a charcoal grill, and the chicken tawook kebab is one of the dishes ordered most directly from that grill. Rice comes alongside mains such as the lamb basha, and garlic sauce or garlic mayo goes with the chicken and the chips. The chips are finished with a red seasoning on top. Dessert is baklava, made with pistachios and syrup.

“Paid nearly £40 for food and stuff missed out , lamb was not cooked on char grill ? in and out in 10 mins. Marguerite pizzas terrible . Fries rock hard and the place was empty so wasn’t rushed off their feet . Will not be going again .”

“My bloody kebab came deconstructed, had to build it like a bloody Lego set. Came with no lettuce just some dishevelled onion half heartedly placed under the absolutely monstrous amount of chips, meat was good tho.”

“ordered falafel which is meant to come with flat bread and tahini, only falafal provided which were overcooked and dry, hard to swallow. Ordered the potatoes harahs and asked for no coriander to then receive bland potatoes with no sauce or seasoning at all, just dry overcooked potatoes, massive let down considering how much we spent on 2 meals, wouldn't order again.”

“This eatery is conveniently located near my workplace, and I’m really glad it’s there. It’s a cozy spot where I can sit inside, sheltered from the cold night air, while enjoying a proper meal when hunger strikes. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a good variety, and I decided to try one dish with a name I wasn’t familiar with — it turned out to be quite tasty! Though the prices are a bit higher compared to other places, the portion was just right and the flavor made it worthwhile. Overall, I’m happy I chose to stop by here.”

“Shocking. Pad £20 for two meals. A donnr wrap meal and a burger meal. Brutal from the price. Small chips and I mean small. And the food, burnt to a crisp, dry and a waste of money. I mean the donnr meat was black. Rock solid. Obviously from a packet as no meat skewers in the shop. How do you own a food business and burn the food?? Weve all heard of crispy. But wow”

Customer Review Summary
Baklava is the most repeated draw, described as crispy with a decent amount of syrup, big chunks of pistachio and not too sweet. Close behind are the rice, which two reviewers single out with real enthusiasm, the chicken tawook kebab with chicken that melts in the mouth, and the creamy garlic chicken. Seasoned fries, a garlic mayo and the hearty lamb basha stew also earn praise, and one reviewer notes quick delivery with extra treats thrown in. The complaints are sharp, though. Three reviewers describe poor orders: falafel overcooked and dry with no flatbread or tahini, bland potatoes, donner meat burnt black and rock solid, rock hard fries, terrible margherita pizzas, and lamb not cooked on the char grill. Several say the prices felt high for what arrived. Another reviewer's kebab came deconstructed with no lettuce under a monstrous amount of chips, though the meat was good, and one found the coleslaw clearly from a tub.
