Quick info
About Dilan Turkish BBQ and Steakhouse
A chef's special platter for two anchors the menu at Dilan Turkish BBQ and Steakhouse, a Turkish restaurant and barbecue grill on Eaton Road in Liverpool, arriving with fries, rice and salad for two people to share, and hot bread comes to the table free of charge at the start of the meal. The kitchen works largely over the grill, with lamb chops, chicken, Adana, kebabs and steak across a menu running to around 105 dishes. Starters are built for sharing before mains land, among them Peynirli Borek, with Mangal Sucuk and Tavuk Kanat also on the list. Portions run generous. Tables here seat family groups of four to five adults, and reservations are taken. The restaurant opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
The chargrilled meat is what brings diners back, with the lamb chops and chicken singled out as juicy, succulent and perfectly seasoned, and one regular visiting from overseas describing years of orders that tasted just as good as the last. Close behind are the shared platters, called massive and delicious, along with the chef's special for two ordered as delivery with its selection of meats, fries, rice and salad. Several also mention the complimentary hot bread at the start, the cheese borek, and steaks cooked as asked, and one reviewer recommends getting the Adana. Staff draw repeated praise as welcoming and attentive without being fussy, and one table seated early was given a choice of two tables. The clearest dissent comes from a diner who felt a kebab arrived on a tiny wrap with salad to share and did not represent good value, suggesting small changes to how the food is presented. Another recalls the chef coming out to ask whether the meal was enjoyed.

“Staff really nice but not good value for money £20 for a kebab which came on a tiny wrap , salad to share. Did not feel good value for money but food was ok and drinks were reasonable. I think small changes to the way they present their food would positively impact their footfall.”

“Visiting Liverpool from Aussie over the past couple of years and this restau has become our go to every time I’m back with my UK family. It has never once let us down!! The lamb chops and chicken are always perfectly seasoned, juicy, succulent, and cooked to perfection. What really stands out is the consistency, every order over the last few years has been just as good as the last! Generous portions, proper flavour, and that reliable “we know this will be good” feeling every visit. Easily one of our favourite spots in Liverpool for a proper, satisfying Turkish feast!😍”

“Had meal for 4 adults and 1 child tonight. Ordered a shared platter for 2, it was massive, and totally delicious. My daughter's had steak which they also loved, cooked to perfection. The staff here at Dilan are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much for them. Would definitely recommend, and will be going back in the future x”

“Only had it for delivery so far, but it was excellent. The chef's special for 2 was a great selection of meats, along with fries, rice, salad and a very nice bread (similar to the Greek lagana, not sure of the Turkish name). Cheese borek was nice too.”
