About Chaiiwala
Chaiiwala is a cafe in Liverpool, on Bold St, built around Kashmir pink saffron tea and Indian-style breakfasts. The morning menu includes an Indian omelette breakfast set for anyone who wants the Indian side of breakfast, and an English breakfast with an Indian twist for those who want a familiar plate. Food comes to the table with a newspaper print-out, which gives the meal a street-food presentation. Later in the day, the wraps section offers the Chicken Kebab Wrap, and the kitchen also serves Indian snacks and sweets such as halwa puri with chana. Meal deals are offered for anyone putting a full order together.

Customer Review Summary
Chai draws the most praise, from the Kashmir pink tea and pink saffron tea to karak chai and a chai latte, and one reviewer likens the tea to Mumbai tea stalls. Breakfast comes close behind. Reviewers enjoy the Indian omelette set, the English-ish breakfast with spicy beans, and a spicy chicken sausage and egg wrap, while the chicken kebab wrap and halwa puri with chana also earn praise. Several describe generous portions and good value, and call the room lovely and cosy on a lively street. Opinion is less even on some dishes. One reviewer found the samosa chaat bland and the daal and channa tasting canned, another called the nimbu pani a disappointment, and one thought the egg slightly overcooked. Service drew one complaint of a wrong order and tea not ready until well after opening, so that reviewer suggests the menu say when tea becomes available.

“I’ve walked past here a couple times going down bold street so with 2 colleagues, we thought we’d give it a try. Went in without any expectations and came out knowing we’ll be going back. The food was excellent and mixed primarily Indian cuisine with a few other more western items. The price of a meal was excellent in my opinion and the food itself was even better. I personally had the Chicken Kebab Wrap which is highly recommend. The member of staff behind the counter was also really helpful and a sound lad. Date/Time of Visit: 24/06/2026 - 12:30pm.”

“Had the english breakfast with an indian twist, huge offering, loved the slightlysausages and the bacon. The beans were spicy and loved them. The egg needed more butter and was slightly overcooked. Had the Kashmir pink tea which was delicious. Will definitely recommend this place.”
