Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the cooked breakfast, with the medium breakfast and a large English of sausage, bacon, beans, tomato and hash brown singled out. The sausages and bacon are praised for quality, and one diner says the black pudding was the nicest she had tasted, winning over a fussy eater who ate almost all of it. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly and welcoming, with several regulars saying the team knows their usual order and makes a good cuppa. A few also mention the roomy interior, home cooked food with no grease on the plate, and one chilli called heartwarming. The one real complaint comes from a reviewer who found the sausage chippy-style and was given a refilled brown sauce bottle that tasted like vinegar, which ruined the visit. Elsewhere, one regular says they come in daily and leave satisfied, and another says staff greet them with a smile.
