Customer Review Summary

Live entertainment is the main draw at this pub, with reviewers describing a brilliant singer, good acts on weekends, and a night of laughter and dancing that felt electric. Close behind are the staff, called super friendly and lovely by several, along with drink prices described as good. Food draws mixed accounts. One reviewer picked up four roast dinners and called them one of the nicest roasts in a while, but others say food is no longer served, and one who ordered a breakfast reported overcooked bacon, cold toast on cheap bread and shrivelled mushrooms. Cleanliness is the other recurring complaint. Reviewers mention sticky carpets and a smell of cat urine, and one calls the place a filthy dive that used to be a lovely family pub. Even so, the reviewer who griped about the carpets says it won't stop them coming back.
