  “When arrived seated at table all tables with sticky and then told No more food orders for 15 minutes this thing got extended another 15 minutes and then extended again for another 10 minutes. We were in a table of 11 people. Four meals came out then 10 minutes later, another four meals came out then another 10 minutes later. The last three came out so three people were starting their food when others had finished then a meal was ordered with no mayonnaise as the lady has an allergic reaction to but they put it on a food anyway would not recommend to anybody wanting food and would not come back again”

  “Had a lovely visit here on fathers day and was served by a lady called Laura, she was a very pretty blonde girl with the lovliest customer service manner and went abive and beyond for me my family and children! Didnt see the girl stop constantly on the go 5* service thanks to this lady! Well done laura payrise very much needed. Keep up the good work :)”

  “Came as a party of 4- 2 adults and two children. Our server was Ruby and they were lovely and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Food and Drink arrived super fast and was lovely. Will defo come back. ❤️”

  “I came here for some food and had a lovely time. One particular member of staff was just delightful, her name was Ruby L. She looked after us and made sure that we was ok and had everything we needed. I will definitely be going back, especially with staff like her.”

  “The Blue Anchor is a brilliant spot with a really welcoming atmosphere and a proper welcoming feel as you walk in. The food came out quickly with generous portions. I was served by Ruby L who was friendly attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to again and recommend to others.”

  “Ruby L was very happy to help me and my family when we came for a family meal last week. She was easy to talk to and offered a couple recommendations to us when we were struggling to decide what to have as there’s such a wide menu. We had a good experience and will be coming back.”

  “Worlds best place walked in and got greeted by an angel called Sharon think she was polish. Food was extremely delicious, was nice and full after my meal I had the sardines mushy peas with blue cheese soup was delicious. The beetroot juice is also majestic 100% recommend.”

  “The staff were bery friendly and honestly lovely but the food not so good. The chips tasted as though the oil was old and we ordered bread and butter and it never came i headed to the bar and asked and it took about 8 minutes for it to come out by that time the meal was already over, they explained they had ran out and it was still showing on the app, they brought out a demi baguette instead which wasnt a complaint but the frozen butter was awful, now the meal lost its heat couldn't even melt it with the food. Such simple things made the meal unenjoyable. Also ask for no ice in your drink else 3/4 of the glass will be ice.”
