About The Crosby Coop
The Crosby Coop is a micro pub on College Rd in Liverpool, on the corner opposite Marine FC, which makes it a stop before and after home games. There is no jukebox and there are no gambling machines, so the room runs on drinking and conversation around an L-shaped bar. Rotating cask ales on hand pull lead the range, with wines, spirits and craft and keg beers poured alongside, and the team can talk through what is on at the time. Beyond the main bar, a side room and a conservatory looking onto the street add seating, and outdoor seats suit drinking outside in fair weather. A step-free entrance keeps the bar reachable for visitors with mobility needs, and dogs are welcome. It opens daily and takes walk-ins rather than bookings, though it fills at peak times and on a Friday night.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the real ales, describing a superb selection kept in excellent condition, with one reviewer singling out a pint of Thornbridge The Union. Close behind is the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of a small micro pub, where people sit in the conservatory watching the world go by. Several mention the staff as friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the beers, and one says the wait never seems long even when busy. Reviewers also note a good range of wines and spirits, and one praises a craft ale enjoyed with lunch. The pub's position just across the road from Marine FC makes it a regular stop before and after home games for a few. One reviewer notes there is no juke box and no gambling machines, just people drinking and talking, and another says it does not serve food unless crisps count. Dogs are described as welcome, and one reviewer mentions chatting with the locals on a busy second visit of the day.

“I love this place. It's not the biggest but it makes up for it with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. No juke box, no gambling machines, just people drinking, talking and generally laughing. The average age is not young and on a friday night its always full. It doesn't do food, unless you count crisps.”

“Great little independent food and wine bar with a great range of craft ales. I particularly loved the Colbier I had with my lunch. Food was delicious too 😋”
