Customer Review Summary
Afternoon tea is the draw reviewers raise most, with several describing a lovely one at a great price, including a takeaway order and a vegetarian request that was catered for. Close behind is food reviewers call truly made fresh and delicious, with the coleslaw, the hot chocolate and the coffee singled out, plus gluten free options for one regular. Staff and owners come up repeatedly as friendly, welcoming and good with children, and one reviewer who visits after weekend sports describes it as good value. A fry up is the one sore spot. One reviewer found the large the same size as a small elsewhere, with the child's small coming with a single sausage, one bacon, one egg and some beans, and said they would not return. Another reviewer says the owner carried a collected afternoon tea order out to their car.

“I usually go to Manchester for lunch, or somewhere trendy like withington or Didsbury.PEOPLE .I have found a true delight. This cafe serves food that is truly made fresh and really delicious, and very reasonably priced. Not just that but there's a beautiful feeling lost to many places. Real care, about food, and customer services. I have been looking for this for ages ,funds are tight these days so when you spend ! do it right, it's no wonder people in Shaw are keeping this to themselves.🤣 Best shopping experience on market street Shaw for a long time.a butcher a baker a candlestick maker, traditional and friendly it's all on the high street .Tram from Manchester Victoria. Thursdays street market omg fresh, homemade, and local food.Bloody blissful.”

“Food was extremely expensive for what you got. I ordered a large fry up and it was the same size as a small anywhere else. My son had a small that had a sausage, 1 bacon 1 egg and some beans. It was the same price as a large in other places. Won't be going again.”
