Customer Review Summary
The full English fry-up is what most reviewers come for, with several calling it the best they have had and one describing it as authentic, like a family brunch at home. Diners single out good quality sausages, cherry tomatoes preferred over tinned ones, coffee, homemade orange juice and gluten free bread, along with plenty of choice and friendly, family run service. Delivery gets mixed reports. One reviewer found everything fresh and hot, while another wished the eggs had been runnier but understood why they were not. The complaints centre on delivered food. One reviewer describes burnt sausages, hash browns cold in the middle, an undercooked egg and chewy toast. Another reports sausage oil burning through the container and asked for replacement beans. A third objected to heated receipt paper being placed in the food. The harshest account ends with beans spilled through the courier bag and very little left to eat.

“I'd appreciate if I didn't have the heated receipt paper in my food. The receipt paper is toxic and you've compromised my food”

“I ordered a breakfast costing £16, which included sausages, beans, egg, hash browns and toast. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was extremely disappointing. The sausages were so overcooked that they were burnt beyond being edible. The hash browns were cold in the middle and had an unpleasant, lumpy texture. The egg was undercooked and not prepared to an acceptable standard. The “toast” appeared to be warm bread rather than properly toasted, and it was extremely chewy. In addition, the container had leaked during delivery, resulting in the beans spilling throughout the courier bag and leaving very little left to eat. For £16, I expected a breakfast that was cooked and packaged with much greater care. Based on the quality of the food I received, I do not feel it represented good value for money and I was left very disappointed with the overall experience. Unfortunately, I would not order from this establishment again.”

“The best by far fry up ive had im the UK since comeing from ireland in 2016 , Atmosphere is what you needed like that on a morning to escape the hussle and bussle of the world. Coffee was top notch ! In all the little bits of care that make the fry up that ive never gotten before like this cafe does !”

“Really pleased to finally see a wholesome brunch café offering great quality fare in Oldham. Most places like this wind up closing due lack of business. Many locals are forced to travel all the time or leave the area for this reason. Keep up the great work, you do have support!”

“Our Sunday tradition - Genuinely the best English breakfast you’ll ever have. Anything we’ve had has been fresh and delicious. Service is also awesome, lovely family run business; rally look after you. Even if we moved away from Oldham, we’d probably make the journey to come have breakfast/brunch here. Also, when you order from uber eats etc, everything is fresh and hot. 10/10 best cafe about! Couldn’t recommend enough.”
