  “Damon’s has been the staple of my childhood. When you spot the iconic building you know you’re back home. I’ve come to Damon’s on and off for many years now. I came to eat here for my birthday, and from start to finish everything was great. The ribs are as tasty as ever and my burger was very nice! Melissa was a fabulous host. It was a very nice gesture to have my meal free to celebrate turning 36! Damon’s comes highly recommended!”

  “The same golden movie era theme echoes damons hotel next door.. Yes the food was a little expensive, but totally worth it.. We had ribeye steak, chunky chips, battered onion strips and garden peas as well as a little dish of coleslaw.. OMG it was lush! Genuinely the best meal out we've ever had.The steak was a good size and thickness, seasoned well and piping hot..The crispy battered onion. Strips were a revelation too.. As we were hotel guests, we also received a 15% discount on our meals.So an added bonus.. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. We will definitely be returning with our son next time..”

  “I thought this was a very good deal, you eat free on your birthday and I got 20% off because either we dined before 5pm or was over 60 year old, it was £28 for me including a pint of lager. Some great choice of American inspired food. We all had different combo platters.”

  “Damon is one of my favourite restaurants therefore, of we are local we tend to drive there for our celebrations. However it has changed over the years slightly. They use to serve you freshly baked bread, warm still with butter. The smell of fresh bread... 😍. Nowadays are just mini rolls delivered to the restaurant. There used to have a mini pudding for the birthday girl/boy. That has gone too. There was a time when they've got you some wet wipes for your sticky fingers after the eating their glorious ribs... Not anymore. But despite those minuses, the birthday meal is still free, the ribs are still good, overall a good experience.”
