  “Mouth watering food . I have enjoyed three takeaway meals from here and amazing taste , flavours. Go for the specials. I thoroughly enjoyed the curry , the parathas, the pilau rice and my favourite mint sauce. The chef has created amazing flavours. The staff are very friendly and nice. They prepare it and takes 45 mins approximately for a home delivery. It is free delivery over 16 .95 . I hope to sit in the restaurant soon but walking the dog full time job . I have loved curries for fifty years and the chef is excellent, I have tried two different dishes and each has blown me away.”

  “Ordered food to takeaway, curry is far from authentic. Ordered a creamy dish and a tikka dish but both tasted the same and were overly sweet. It’s a shame, seeing as the service is fantastic, just not a great authentic curry!”

  “Five stars all the way for The Spice Corner! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm smiles of the front-of-house team. The menu is a treasure trove of classic and contemporary curries, each bursting with vibrant flavors and just the right amount of heat. We tried the butter chicken, which was luxuriously creamy without ever feeling heavy, and the lamb rogan josh, tender and perfectly spiced. Even the vegetarian dishes (the chana masala in particular) were standouts—fresh, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are incredibly fair—there’s real value here, whether you’re ordering a quick solo lunch or feeding the whole family. Our drinks arrived promptly (cheers to the mango lassi), and every request—extra naan, a little less chili—was met with a cheerful “no problem!” The décor is a bit odd, but honestly, that’s part of the charm! It gives the place character and makes it feel even more like a hidden gem. If you’re craving honest, mouthwatering Indian cuisine served by genuinely lovely people, look no further than The Spice Corner. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “Ordered food for delivery, and it was delivered 30 minutes later. The Tarkha Dhal was absolutely delicious! Subtly flavoured, and a generous portion. One of my daughters had the child’s Chicken Korma, and again, a large portion which she liked. The lamb Rogan Josh was also delicious, with a great balance of spices. Very happy with my order, and will use this restaurant again.”

  “Fantastic evening out! Really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff could not have made us feel any more welcome, they even replaced a main course dish we had ordered for a milder version, even though we didn't ask them too, as it was too hot for us to eat. Food was fantastic and the service was amazing!! Would highly recommend it to anyone.”

  “Warm welcome with attention to "old world service" details such as pulling out the chair for me to sit at the table and draping the napkin over my lap. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The Crown has an extensive menu with a number of house specials. I chose a Chicken Dhansak as it is a favourite and I really enjoyed the flavoursome dish. I would happily return to this restaurant .”
