Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the food, with a biryani singled out by one self-described connoisseur and a Tawa special on the newly added dishes recommended by another reviewer. Reviewers repeatedly call the staff friendly, and several return visitors say standards are back up after the renovation, describing the new interiors as modern, brighter and more spacious while keeping a warm, traditional Indian feel. One reviewer says the service was fast on a quiet night. The criticism is specific. One diner found the rice hard, the naan unlike normal naan and the curry average and slightly watery, while another thought the naan bread a little flat and tasteless. A third did not enjoy the dessert, which they were told is bought in, and the restaurant took it off the bill.

“Returned here after a while as moved further away but glad we did - great service and really good food - the menu has improved and the service was top notch - we met a very nice young lady called Tamara who spent time chatting to us and explained the history thank you We will definitely be back (The only reason for 4 stars was the man bread a little flat and tasteless)”

“Firstly the place was very clean and looked very nice, we got seated by a lovely lady (didn’t get her name) but was very polite and friendly. The service was fast and food was quick while being a Thursday so not many customers I still think it would be the same on a busier night. So I’ll get into the food the starters and mains was delicious and will definitely return for them I think everything has been made to service and it’s definitely tasting like it to, I will say I am a connoisseur for a biryani and I’d give there’s a 9 out of 10 it’s was lovely and 100% will have another next time we go the only down side for me was that I didn’t get on with the dessert it was just not what I was expecting and they did inform me it’s bought in not made in house which is expected and nearly every restaurant in the area but they did take it off the bill which was super lovely of them and will definitely say try it out for yourself if your looking for a authentic Indian dinner.”

“Disappointed with my meal. Rice was hard and unpleasant. I'd genuinely have been better of making my own. Naan was not at all like normal Naan bread and was not particulary good. Curry was bang average and slightly watery. Won't be ordering from here again.”
