Customer Review Summary
Lamb and chicken qozy come up most, called a highlight of the meal and outstanding alongside mahiche, with reviewers also naming the mixed grill, kebabs, a liver skewer, and fresh fluffy bread. Generous salads, rice, and bread, with extra rice brought on request, drive repeated praise for value. Several mention plenty of space for family dinners, though one finds the vibe too casual for families, and another says tables get shared when it is busy. One misses the soup that other Kurdish restaurants serve first. The sharpest criticism comes from one reviewer who describes cold goose, a shish kebab full of fat, an undercooked chicken leg skewer, and meat qozy that tasted of vegetable oil. That reviewer also reports stomach pains and diarrhoea afterward and suspected food poisoning. Others describe staff bringing extra dishes on the house, and a free hot tea after the meal.

“Avoid this place at all cost! Firstly, the atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. The staff lacked customer service. Ive been to many kurdish restaurants and ive visited Kurdistan several times and one thing I've learnt is that the Kurdish hospitality is unmatched. 0 customer service. Secondly, the food is the worst ive ever had. I ate this food around 4pm, Ive had severe pains In my stomach and have been sat on the toilet for the last 2 hours with shivers and diarrhoea. The only word or 2 I have to describe it is food poisoning. Firstly, my husbands food came cold. He ordered the goose if im correct. It came cold, and the soup tasted off. We ordered a chicken shish for my son, the chicken breast was too chewy for him to eat, felt like it had been left there for a while. My daughter had the shish kebab. It contained so much fat that as it cooled on her plate, the fat dripping also cooled on the plate. It was horrible to see. I ordered the meat qozy. The taste was horrible, it looked and tasted like vegetable oil. No actual taste at all. The meat was sat in oil. It was so bad I couldnt stomach it, so my husband ordered me the mixed shish. It only got worse! The meat was salted nicely but they included large pieces of fat on the skewer so I only got a few pieces of meat. The 2nd skewer was chicken leg. No seasoning whatsoever and very very undercooked. That had to be left. I told my husband to complain but he felt awkward doing so as the staff weren't very welcoming at the start. Overall, we left hungry, dissatisfied and feeling sick. If I could give an overall 0 star I would, this establishment needs inspecting.”

“Top notch service as always, super down to earth staff and obviously that is the best way to stand out and be number one Kurdish restaurant in the AREA. The food can be taken to another level if they provide Bulgur as it’s showing in the picture quite more often.”
