  “Lacey was so helpful on the dough boy’s counter! They didn’t have any of my favourite pizza slice left, so she offered to make me a fresh one! I declined and took another but she went the extra mile to make it tasty!”

  “I hate to leave a bad review, but after visiting last night I felt so compelled to share my experience. Basically this place does not match its hype. The taste and quality of the pizza did not match the price, the customer service was not great as we waited in line for around 20 minutes, and the employee who served us made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Usually I’m fine if a restaurant isn’t firing from all cylinders— if a sandwich is sub par but the employee was nice, I’m happy, and vice versa. Sadly, Dough Boys had 0 cylinders firing when I went. Also, it was a Tuesday night…I’d hate to see what it’s like on the weekends.”

  “This place is amazing. Excellent choice of pizza served by the slice fresh and hot which is a great idea so you can have as little or as much as you want! Friendly staff a great blend of professionalism and light hearted banter. The pizza dough is incredible and all tastes amazing, will definitely come back! 10/10! Definitely the best 12 inches 😋”

  “I questioned if it was ‘burnt’ before I turned it over as it was had black patches on top, and was told “that’s how we cook it” - awful service, rude staff and inedible food. Avoid at all costs.”

  “How Belgrave gave these amateurs a gig I'll never know. I asked for the pizzas me and my partner wanted but neither were available which was made obvious by the sarcastic little know it all behind the till. He told me "only these are available" and gestured to a load of half cooked pizzas that weren't obvious to match up to their weirdly named menu. My girlfriend is veggie and one of hers wasn't available so I asked if one was the "mushroom for improvement". This was sarcastically put down but its fair to say both our pizzas had "mushroom for improvement". We settled with a margerita for her and some random beefy looking one for me. It seems they put 2 rejects they could find and stuck them back in the pizza oven for 30 seconds. When we ate them they were practically cold and gave the vibe of a pizza you could heat up hungover on a Sunday morning. Won't waste my money with them again.”

  “No vegetarian pizza available—great start. But honestly, that wasn’t even the worst part. The staff were unbelievably rude and weirdly condescending towards my boyfriend for absolutely no reason. You’re serving pizza, not running a high-end establishment—maybe drop the attitude. The arrogance would be laughable if it wasn’t so off-putting. Leeds is full of places that actually know how to treat customers properly, so I’d strongly recommend going literally anywhere else. I wouldn’t give money to people this unpleasant again if you paid me.”

  “I didn’t have any food so I cannot rate it. The beer was good, the place was cozy and I really liked the atmosphere. Chill vibes, live Dj. If you are looking for good music but something more chill than a loud bar I think this can be your place.”

  “Still the best slice pizza in town but not quite up there with full size Neapolitan offerings from Rudy's or Pizza fellas. Half price slices are a must have when in town.”
