  “Monday lunchtime with my wife after a walk round Leeds. Opted for The Loaded Spud with a glass of Shiraz for her, a Chicken and Bacon Ciabatta with chips and a Guinness 0%, which came in at a pocket friendly sub £17 between us. Service and clearance was fast, efficient and friendly, so will definitely come back for lunch again. Only niggle sitting outside (which is no reflection on the venue themselves) was a man constantly walking around the terrace area wanting people to buy cigarettes, which is slightly off putting when you're trying to eat.”

  “Spacious yet cosy. Choice of beverages including hot 💧 water for your tea. Alcoholic drinks 🍸 also available. The Leeds arena is in spitting distance while just across are the numerous shops which form part of the city centre. Wetherspoons Stick or Twist is large and comfortable making pram or wheelchair ♿️ access possible. It is also clean. The universities are within reach while the commercial or financial sector is close by. Do visit.”

  “I recently revisited this renowned restaurant (with a group from specialist autism services leeds) after an enjoyable experience at the hole in wand - leeds, And I must say, service at the stunning stick or twist, is as great as ever, the food (this time a BBQ stack) and drink (the usual diet coke/pepsi) tasty & refreshing as ever from my previous occasional revisits to the significantly uplifting stick or twist restaurant which I myself rate as tip-top 10 out of 10, in-fact... 30 out of 30. I'd look forward to revisiting yet dine out at the place once again, even to try out different bites to eat & refreshing soft drinks that I myself also forever recommend.”

  “Been in a few times on a morning and got served by the manageress, she has a really bad attitude and obviously brings her problems to work and takes it out on the customers. Not a very nice person at all. The rest of the staff are lovely although I certainly wont be going in there again.”

  “Went on Saturday it was a lovely atmosphere even though it was packed the staff were amazing and so friendly. Especially Megan b she was so helpful helping me. My older son is deaf and she was so patient and understanding even when she was so busy. Her attitude towards working is so lovely. She has very good mannerisms and was an absolute star.”

  “I would rate this Wetherspoons two stars. When I arrived, the general manager was involved in an altercation with a drunk individual outside the premises. After the situation ended, I handed the manager some lost keys I had found. His response was, “I don’t give a f** about them.” I found this extremely unprofessional and a real disgrace to the Wetherspoons brand. Once inside, the premises smelt strongly of urine and faeces, which made the experience even worse. I usually enjoy visiting Wetherspoons, but on this occasion I felt the general manager let the reputation of the company down. While it was clear he was frustrated by the earlier incident, I do not believe a general manager should behave in this manner.”

  “Its a nice atmosphere stunning cocktails. Korean dish is stunning with chips but bland with rice. But its fascinating how overpriced was christmas dish with 4 tiny teeny little pigs in blankets over loads of chips at the price of 9£ so basically paid for the chips there as 4 tiny pigs in blankets are ridiculous simply unacceptable atlest could have make it to 6 pigs in blankets . Chips were nice and cranberry sauce beautiful.”

  “A standard Wetherspoon pub in a decent location near to the First Direct Arena. There is a good selection of food and drink at a good price and plenty of seating. You can order either at the bar or using the app making it convenient to visit.”

  “Stick or Twist has become my favorite place to eat. I go there and I am able to sit for an hour or two without feeling rushed. The staff are polite and the service is fast. I appreciate the free refills on the hot drinks. Great place, fantastic all round meals from the steak to the boneless basket. Their opening hours is a plus too.”
