Customer Review Summary
Build-your-own bowls draw the most praise, with reviewers calling them spot on and tasty, and one singling out a combination of mango, salmon and chili garlic sauce. The rice gets its own mentions, described as well cooked and "beaut" in brown. Close behind is the staff, called friendly, accommodating and eager to get orders right, with one reviewer saying a patient answer to their questions at the till decided them on buying. Regulars describe great portions and food that is always fresh. A chicken katsu curry with seaweed salad was called quite good, though the same reviewer found it on the pricier side. The criticism is sharper in a few reviews. One diner found the food, including the chicken, soggy and cold, left most of it and saw no value for the price. Another, returning after months away, found a smashed glass front door, ordering machines out of order and a single person working at lunchtime. Another reviewer's ramen with prawns was made on the spot and still hot after the journey home.

“Wanted to try something new, I'm big fan of sushi and poke bowls, the place was pretty stale atmospherically and the food was including the chicken was soggy and cold, for the price I definitely did not see the value in what I purchased, definitely will not be going again only because there are far better options out there such as kokoro and wasabi which are a lot more lively and welcoming. I spend less in those places also and I have a family of five so cost is pretty important to me. We left most of the food and ended up in fluffy fluffy which definitely redeemed our trip to Leeds. All is halal except the beef FYI the dude at the till seemed pretty chill I think his name was Cal, can't fault him at all it was mainly the quality of the food which let everything down”

“During my time in leeds, I saw this place and decided to give a try because they look delicious from the promotions! I had their Chicken katsu curry with brown rice with an additional topping of seaweed salad/ wakame. Everything was £11.95. Yes it is on the pricier side but hey it’s not bad to try new things! Everything tasted okay, the curry was quite good. This is based on my experience but its an okay place to try out :)”
