“Used to love coming here as they had the best fillet burgers in the country. Something really seems to have changed by July 26. Poor chicken, batter overdone. This used to be a regular stop passing round the coast. Not sure if anything has changed into terms of owners/suppliers but was very disappointing.”

“Just had a small fish from here and was sadly disappointed as the fish was practically non existent and it was all batter, and even the batter was disgusting and chewy! I use this chippy often and that was the worst fish I have had (from anywhere in Northern Ireland). For £10 it was no where near worth it.”

“Had a desire for fish & chips so tried Cape Cod, Larne. Never going back. Worst fish I've had. Very little fish and over fried. The chips were dry & warm, not hot. My wife had the chicken breast. Not enough meat and defintely over cooked!! Meat was dry and tasteless. Won't be recommending to my friends”

“Had to wait 55 minutes in this shop , and guess what!.... food was disgusting when I did eventually yet it. The worst chips in town!..... Go to the Square instead, what I had to do after this debacle! Horrible service from a disorganised crowd. I won't be back while it's under the present ownership. No decent apology when I did complain. Suppose to be fair there is no excuse for such blatantly bad service while they stand around and watch. Must be some wee game they play among themselves. Not that funny Not the first time this has happened to me but one sure thing it will be the last.”
