Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the build-your-own cooked breakfast, where staff dish up five, seven or nine items and a drink is included. Bacon is singled out as the star, with good hash browns, decent black pudding and eggs cooked to order, while the sausage is called standard. One notes the fried bread was not greasy, and portions are described as good sized and hot. Roast dinners are the close second, with one reviewer enjoying pork, veg and toasties and another pairing a roast with crumble. Coffee, milkshakes, iced coffee, apple pie and ice cream come up as well, and the staff are repeatedly called friendly and quick. The main complaint is the heat lamps: one diner found the roast dinner only warm and really dry, and another says everything apart from the eggs sits under a lamp. Several mention the value, and one says the prices were not bad. One reviewer who started with the five item deal ended up taking the nine item plate and cleaned it.

“Good breakfast and great price. We were looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning and we thought we would give this place a go. The cafe is well presented, clean with lots of seating inside. You get yourself a table then go up and order from the buffet style menu, in such away you tell them how many items you want and they dish your plate up. They do 5,7 and 9 item breakfasts all include a drink. The missus had a 7 item and I had a 9 with a latte and a decaf cappuccino. The Bacon was the star of the breakfast for me, standard café sausage which was ok. Hash browns were good and descent black pudding. Eggs are cooked to order so nice and fresh, everything else is under a heat lamp. I'm sure they put the breakfast in a microwave for a minute to make sure it's piping hot, but I feel that this didn't alter the quality of the breakfast. The staff are very helpful and polite and the breakfast was descent considering the price point. I would go again.”

“Mon 15th June. First visit to KL. Been for a swim and hungry. Needed somewhere for something filling and not fancy. Cafe Roasta was that place. Thoroughly enjoyed my roast dinner of pork, veg and toasties for £10. Service was friendly and attentive. Such places are hard to find these days. A gem.”
