  “The food was overall delicious, especially the fondue dessert. I would go back just to have the dessert again. I appreciate that the menu was detailed and described what each dish consisted off. The service could have been better. The food comes out in a haphazard order. Three menu days it comes out whenever the dishes are ready. We ordered the hummus starter, the falafel and fired fish small dishes, Korean tacos which was a sharing plate, and the trout, which is a large plate. The trout came out before the falafel. The tables are small and can't really for all the dishes at once. It was a real balancing act. No one ever came to ask how we were doing it if we needed anything. No one came to clear dishes away once we were fine too give more space. We had to get the wait staff's attention to order dessert and get more water. The wait staff was nice when we talked to them. Maybe there were busier than they looked.”

  “Delightful food, small restaurant but with a bustling atmosphere. All the staff were attentive and friendly, special mention to Jiri who is such a personality and very funny! He really looked after us and went the extra mile. Great restaurant and we will be back later in the year on our next visit to Keswick.”

  “This was a first class tapas experience. The new tapas / small plates menu at Merienda on Keswicks Main Street is superb. There is still a larger plates, pasta, veggie menu for those who prefer that style and having already eaten from this menu I can recommend that one also. For this new tapas menu we couldnt decide which dishes to go for so we basically opted for almost all of them and shared between the three of us. My go-to tapas is always the bravas and these were crunchy but yet soft and it was obvious they were cooked fresh and not prepped and reheated as so often is the case! Highly recommend you visiting and I have no doubt this will be a menu that suits every palette. Thank you George and Meera and your fabulous chefs we will be back very soon :-)”
