Customer Review Summary
The Madras curry draws the most praise, with diners describing the Chicken Shashlik Madras as tender, melt-in-the-mouth and richly flavoured, and another reviewer calling the Madras “unbelievably tasty.” Other highlighted dishes include the gobi 65 starter, which was noted as great, and the keema naan, praised for its nice portion of meat. Several guests commend the friendly, polite staff and the clean, lovely setting, and one party appreciated the restaurant’s flexibility in expanding a reservation from eight to twelve guests. A recurring downside is uneven food quality; one diner found the sag paneer watery and lacking flavour, another said the chicken tikka biryani missed its expected tikka notes, and a delivery order was described as run-of-the-mill with a rude driver. One reviewer notes the staff accommodated a sudden increase in party size, illustrating the venue’s adaptability.

“Service was amazing very friendly staff. The food was overall good but the sag paneer wasn't great had little flavour and quite watery which is the reason for 4 stars not 5”

“Thank you Dhaka, we originally booked for 8, I rang in with a change to 9, then a second call to 10. We turned up with 12. Easy to refuse, but the Dhaka made it work - so thank you, Being flexible to help goes a long way.’”

“Visited Saturday 17th January with my girlfriend, my mate and his wife. The food was exquisite, fantastic service and the ambience was lovely, not too loud considering it was very busy. A good sign! My Chicken Shashlik Madras was amazing. The chicken was so tender and melted in the mouth and the sauce was very flavoursome. My keema naan was lovely too, not too doughy and a nice portion of meat. Finished off with a masala tea. Would definitely visit again if in the area.”

“Lovely restaurant. Went there for the first time with my family and the food was wonderful. I had the gobi 65 ( fried cauliflower ) for the starter and it was great. I then had chicken biryani for the main and it was wonderful. Definitely should come to this restaurant”
