  “I’ve been here several times, and it has consistently delivered a great experience. The food is always flavourful and well-presented, with a menu that offers plenty of choices. What keeps me coming back is not only the quality of the meals but also the friendly and attentive service. The staff are always welcoming, professional, and make every visit enjoyable.”

  “Order arrived over two hours late and was stone cold by the time it got here. The portion sizes were absolutely awful and nowhere near worth the money. The chicken fillet was so hard and overcooked it was like chewing on a well-done steak. It was completely inedible and honestly one of the worst takeaway experiences I've had. Don't bother ordering online at all. At least if you're eating there in person, you have the chance to complain and send the food back. Ordering online just leaves you stuck with cold, disappointing food and terrible service. I won't be ordering from here again.”

  “We ate out as a family here, ordered multiple meals. The staff forgot one of the kids meals and we had to remind them about it, when the rest of us were halfway through our owns meals. One of us pulled out the THICKEST hair from our burger - it was clearly a beard or some other thick hair. My own smash burger had bones in with every mouthful, to the extent that I thought I had damaged my teeth. I noticed the staff don’t even wear any cooking gear expected of chefs and personnel in restaurant environments. It is our own fault for returning to this place. The first time we ate here, every single burger had RED lettuce in it, that is, mouldy lettuce that is not edible. Young children were accompanying us so the health impacts could’ve been severe. This is what happens when those who run these places have little to go regard for health and safety and customer care. Avoid at all costs unless you want a broken tooth or fall really ill. I genuinely think the health authorities should be reported here.”

  “The food was extremely disappointing—burnt, dry, and completely lacking flavour. There was no hint of peri peri at all; it honestly felt like the chicken had been thrown straight onto the grill without any proper marination. The burger was also tasteless, dry, and burnt—honestly, all I could taste was a burnt flavour lingering in my mouth. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.”

  “Food was out of this world. Ordered on uber eats food came a bit late however it was perfect, chicken cooked to perfection with a bit of the lemon zest. That’s what I really call finger licking good, the chips were magnificent… portion so overflowing it was falling off the plate. This experience made me fall in love with the food all over again. Well done to five lads, definitely been remarkable”

  “I usually order the lemon and herb grilled chicken with sides, which I’ve always enjoyed. It’s consistently been good and is the reason I’ve kept coming back. Today I decided to try the smash burger with sides, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. For a regular burger it was below average — but for a smash burger, it’s honestly the worst I’ve ever had. The patty was tough and chewy, and it tasted like the meat had been sitting in the fridge for a while. The sauce inside the burger was also unpleasant — far too strong and overpowering for a smash burger. Really disappointed, especially since my previous orders have been good.”

  “I honestly didn't have high expectations when ordering from here but I was pleasantly surprised! The Grilled Chicken Burger is delicious, definitely needs more sauce in it though - it's a good thing they gave me free sauce sachets. Next, their Piri Fries are flavorsome, plus they gave me a really big portion that could easily feed 2 people as part of a burger meal. The Chicken Strips and Quarter Chicken were good too but, once again, I do prefer it to be more saucy. This place is certainly on the pricier side which is why I expected small portions and dry chicken. And that is just not the case at all. Will definitely be reordering from here again :)”

  “I visited this place for dinner based on a friend’s recommendation but was quite disappointed with the food quality. I ordered a half chicken, a burger, and a wrap, but none of them met my expectations. The taste was bland and unappealing. The double patty burger especially was a letdown, it felt more like a cheap one pound burger. However, I must say the staff were polite and served the food promptly, which was the only positive part of the experience.”

  “I ordered from Five Lads Goodmayes via Uber Eats, and it was a very disappointing experience. The food arrived leaking because saucy items were packed in cardboard boxes, which clearly wasn’t suitable. To make things worse, the chicken was severely undercooked—when we pressed it between our thumbs, it was pink inside, and there was almost blood-like juice coming out of it. Despite this, the restaurant told us, “that’s how it should be,” which was shocking. When we called the restaurant to raise our concerns, the person on the phone kept giving us excuses about why the food could have been the way it was, rather than accepting what we were telling them. Even though they were closed to the public, the person answering the phone was still inside the shop and refused to come to a resolution with us. Terrible packaging, unsafe food, and very poor customer service. I wouldn’t order from here again.”

  “Staff and customer service were pleasant. Ordered the 15 wings platter and about 5 wings were under cooked which didn't taste nice. The lamb chops were over cooked and lost it's moisture and tenderness. The only decent food was my child's food. Might visit again but not anytime soon.”
