  “I visited Popeyes today to use a gift card, and it turned into a really frustrating experience. There was no option to use the gift card on the self-service screen, so I asked a member of staff for help. At first, he completely ignored me, then eventually said it was “a new thing” and that he needed to ask his manager. After waiting around five minutes, I went back to ask for an update, only to be told the manager hadn’t got back to him. I waited even longer and eventually ended up paying the balance out of my own pocket just to get my order. To make matters worse, they still couldn’t get my order right and missed an item. When I asked again about the manager, the staff member seemed completely lost and had no idea what was going on. The food itself was also very disappointing. It was dry, lacked flavour, and definitely wasn’t worth the wait or the poor service. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Poor customer service, disorganised staff, an incorrect order, and dry food. I won’t be rushing back.”

  “This Popeyes Ilford branch continues to impress me every time I visit. As always the chicken is delicious and full of flavour. Popeyes has always been my favourite place for chicken and fries and that has never changed. I had visited the very first Popeyes outlet when it launched in the UK and the taste I get today is exactly the same. It brings back the same experience and quality that made me love Popeyes in the first place. The chicken is perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and juicy inside and the fries are always hot and well seasoned. The Ilford outlet itself is very spacious with plenty of seating which makes it comfortable to dine in. The staff work quickly and the service is fast even during busy times. Orders are prepared efficiently and the food is served fresh. Overall the atmosphere is good and it feels like a great place to enjoy a proper meal. The only negative point is the toilet which is not clean at all and definitely needs more attention. Apart from that everything else is excellent and I am very happy with the food quality and consistency. I will definitely continue coming back because the taste and experience remain top quality.”
