Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the huge, fresh-cooked sandwiches and burritos, with the breakfast burrito and a simple sausage sandwich singled out, and one describing a hangover burrito as massive, close to the weight of a bag of sugar. Close behind are the burgers, including a veggie halloumi burger with a well-cooked egg and hash brown, plus a triple chicken sandwich and a sausage muffin. Several mention a menu that is refreshed every few weeks, and one cites a monthly street food night with fish and pork tacos and loaded tater tots. The staff and the cook-owner are described as friendly and chatty, with music playing while orders are made. One reviewer says a busy visit meant a long wait, but the team comped the meal after overhearing about a flight to catch. The main criticism comes from one reviewer who found the Philly cheese-steak tough, with large chunks of lean beef full of unrendered sinew, no browning, an untoasted bun and too little cheese.

“Didnt have the first choice but there's more options, even 2 veggie. Its cooked fresh to order so they can adapt the ingredient to taste (no guac for us). There were not the basic boring but exciting food i couldnt wait to try. Staff really nice, comfy stools to wait on. I had the veggie Halluomi burger, the egg was spot on and the hash brown tasty. The burrito i was told was amazing, packed full with the best ingredients and the perfect spice to taste combination. Im not from this area but ill be back and this place will be my first choice.”

“Don't want to rate low, but the Philie cheese-steak needs work. The Philie cheese-steak uses large chunks of very lean cuts of beef, thrown on a medium hotplate with peppers and onion. This produces very tough, almost inedible mouthful's of unrendered sinew/connective tissue and it sheds water without browning effectively on the hotplate. The final product is very challenging to eat with poor texture and also no complex flavour. Also the bun is not toasted with butter or mayo, and the ratio of cheese is too low. For this to work, I think slices of real, well marbled steak need to be fried hot and fast, and chopped into very small grains during the cook, any aromatics/veg needs to be chopped very fine also to create a much more consistent flavour/texture, also reduce the portion of meat and increase the cheese. Otherwise I enjoy this shop and hope it does well!”

“Hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Triple chicken sandwich is delicious. Also the breakfast burritos are highly recommended Everything is super fresh and the portion sizes are massive. The staff was super friendly, too. Found my new go-to lunch spot!”

“My first visit to Blind Swine was a delight! I ordered the sausage muffin, which was absolutely delicious. The shop was bustling, so the wait was a bit long, but the staff’s kindness made up for it. Overhearing that I had a flight to catch, they generously comped my meal. The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Thank you for a fantastic experience! I’ll be back for sure.”
