Customer Review Summary
Hot bacon and sausage sandwiches draw the most praise, with reviewers calling the meat good quality and tasty, and one describing a mega breakfast of bacon, eggs, mushrooms and sausages as belting. Close behind is the owner and staff, described as lovely and friendly, and good for a conversation while the food is made. One reviewer calls the place a community space as much as a sandwich shop. Also named are the Victoria sponge, a homemade egg mayo, a chicken tikka salad box and a chicken, bacon, cheese and mayo panini, all called beautiful or brilliant. Reviewers repeatedly mention good value and generous portions, and several say they come in regularly. The main dissent is one reviewer who says three coworkers each threw a sandwich away after one bite, while another notes having heard other people complain about the bacon. One regular says the tea arrives freshly made, hot and strong in a clean mug every time.

“The warm welcome by Ros the moment I walked in set the tone for the first and many subsequent visits. The food is just like mother used to make or better The usual array of sandwiches however the Victoria Sponge cake is to die for. I like my tea freshly made, hot and strong in a clean mug which I get every time. A five star food rating from the local environmental health people so what more could you ask for. Don't go anywhere else in the vicinity, they are no were near to the same standard, more expensive and smaller portions.”

“Came in with my girlfriend got two mega breakfasts, the lady was absolutely lovely, the food didn’t take too long to make sat down it was absolutely gorgeous, heard people moaning about the bacon on here, it’s absolutely belting, the eggs, mushrooms, sausages. PERFECT. Will be going again”

“Out for a walk with the family this morning and just by chance we stumbled across "Brunch Sandwich Bar". The menu was very inviting and we opted for some hot sarnies. Bacon and Sausage sandwiches where very tasty and good quality meat not that cheap stuff you get served up elsewhere. Prices where reasonable and service was spot on. No doubt we'll be back for another try.”
