Reviewers most often mention seafood risotto, pizza dough, seafood stew and Italian cheesecake.
Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the most frequent draw, with reviewers praising the thin dough and juicy filling, though one found the tomato sauce lacking in flavour and another received a pizza burnt at the edge with few toppings. Close behind are the seafood risotto, described as buttery, and a seafood stew big enough for two, along with lamb meatballs and a steak with peppercorn sauce. Pasta sauces are called rich, and one reviewer singles out the Italian cheesecake as tender and suggests trying it. Portions split opinion. Several call them large, while another found the Carbonara salty and both it and the Rigatoni Norma small for the price. Others describe the room as small, cramped and loud, with a booth too tight for six adults and pans banging in the kitchen. Drinks orders were misplaced or mixed up for a couple of tables, yet staff swapped them without fuss. One diner with an ingredient they could not eat had the dish changed at no extra charge.

“My wifes pizza was burnt around the edge and hardly had any toppings and covered in rocket to hide the fact. The seating we were offered which was a booth was cramped and hardly fit for 6 adults to eat properly so we moved to a more suitable area. Sorty Not impressed.”

“Excellent food, atmosphere and service Went for lunch with husband and took my family for breakfast the next day I realised after my order that I couldn't eat one of the ingredients and they changed my dish, no extra charge Definitely recommend!”

“I've lived in Italy and often cook Italian. This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Literally waited 10 minutes for a meal that takes 12 hours to prepare. The staff were sound, helped me pick what I wanted, and the venue is authentic, relaxed and very friendly. There's basically nothing else you could ask for for an evening meal. Get on it.”

“This restaurant is a godsend! The pizza delights with its thin dough and juicy filling. The pasta is cooked perfectly, and the sauces are very rich. Be sure to try the Italian cheesecake - it's tender and melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is very pleasant! I recommend.❤️”

“It’s clear that Santi aims to serve authentic Southern Italian food, and that definitely comes across. The pizza dough was excellent, but the tomato sauce lacked flavour, and the cheese could be of better quality. The Carbonara was far too salty, and both the Carbonara and Rigatoni Norma portions were disappointingly small for the price. The restaurant also needs to pay more attention to cleanliness. With an open kitchen, guests notice details—the kitchen floor looked dirty, and the way the cutlery was handled by some staff wasn’t very reassuring. Overall, the pasta is significantly overpriced for what you get. There is good potential, but a few improvements would make a big difference.”
