About Lime Tandoori
Lime Tandoori is an Indian restaurant in Hull, at 560 Beverley Rd, open daily in the evenings only. A bring-your-own-alcohol policy lets diners carry in their own bottle and set it on the table to go with the meal. Leftovers can be taken home in a container.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the set menu, where a curry of choice comes with portions described as spot on, and several call the food tasty and good value. Takeaway and dine-in diners report meals arriving fast and piping hot, and a regular who visits every couple of weeks mentions a four course meal and the bring your own alcohol option. Service draws warm comments for being quick, friendly and attentive. The criticism is sharper and more detailed. One reviewer found the lamb tikka tasting like week-old meat, the butter chicken heavy on ghee with no heat, the butter lamb overloaded with chilli powder, and the chapati dry. Another said the vindaloo tasted very mild and strange. Delivery complaints include an order taking over an hour and a quarter and arriving cold with a hard garlic naan, one delivered to the wrong house, and another left on the floor in the rain with undercooked Bombay potatoes. One diner's naan was taken away before it went in the takeaway container, and staff made a fresh one once it was pointed out.

“Vindaloo did not taste like Vindaloo, very mild and a strange taste, would not order again due to this. fast friendly delivery but sub standard food unfortunately.”

“Delivery Order Food took over an hour and 15 mins to be delivered, so was cold, garlic nan was so hard we couldn’t eat it. The worse thing was that the actual driver delivered it to the completely different house. Instead of 677 he delivered it to 676 resulting my neighbours having to come and see if it was our order. First and last time we will order from here!”

“Good Indian cuisine at a decent price. The set menu is around £20. The food was tasty and service was quick. The staff were attentive and allowed us to take the left overs home but took my naan away before I could put it in the container. **Shout out to the staff as when it was highlighted to them they made me another naan to take home so really good attentive customer service** I would come back again!”

“Walked past during the day after seeing the “bring your own alcohol” sign. Sat down, put the bottle on the table, ordered lamb tikka. Texture and flavour matched week-old meat. Ordered butter chicken and butter lamb. Both missed the mark. Chicken was loaded with ghee and had no heat. Lamb was turned into a vindaloo by dumping red chilli powder into it with no balance. Mate asked for chicken vindaloo-style mild hot and didn’t get anything close. Ordered chapati, arrived dry. Asked for butter, ended up doing it myself. Overall execution showed no control, no freshness, no consistency.”
