  “I lived in Hull a couple of years ago and feel compelled to review the wonderful places I used to frequent and this spot was the best of them all. I used to come here to study or meet up with friends. I consider it the best place in Hull; the coffee experience is fantastic, and the service is beyond excellent.”

  “Visited today, had a really nice cold drink. The lady serving was really kind and nice. I was impressed by how well decorated the place was with artworks pictures and interesting board games.”

  “People say this place serves lovely coffee? Maybe I was unlucky on this occasion. Ordered two americano coffee’s and both went straight back as they were barely warm. I didn’t finish my replacement as it tasted sour and really not enjoyable in the slightest. Maybe the chap serving was not feeling very well today because he was not outwardly friendly or conversational at all. We went in the last hour of a Sunday so maybe he had one eye on finishing up possibly? The shop was dirty too, floors looked unswept and the cupboard top under the stairs were thick muck.”

  “I came in this lovely coffee shop the other week for the first time due to their arrangement with Food for Cowboys (the delicious Mexican takeaway down the street). I was pleasantly surprised by the alternative, relaxing theme of this independent cafe. The staff were very kind and the coffee was amazing, strong and tasty. I only came in to just eat my Mexican and was still there an hour later 3 coffees in. I highly recommend this cafe.”

  “Great coffee, teas, and beers. This is the perfect place to grab a quick drink or sit down with a board game (I recommend heat pedal to the metal)!”

  “Came for the silent book club this morning. Service was wonderful, coffee was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were so kind. Thank you for all that you do and thank you from Muzzy for allowing dogs to come (although his snorting maybe wasn’t appropriate for a silent club 😂) 👍 🌟”

  “I had no idea this place existed, but am very happy I stumbled across it. Really nice atmosphere, with a good beer selection. To make it even better, they have one of THE best board game selections I have ever seen. I will be back… often!”
