Customer Review Summary
Poppadoms with a selection of sauces and chutney draw the most repeated praise, described as delicious and not at all greasy. Mains follow close behind, with diners naming the Rogan Josh with king prawns, the Garlic Chilli Ghosht with tender lamb, Barahi Gosht, chicken biriyani and murg pakora. Service is the other consistent theme, with staff called friendly and attentive and drinks and food arriving quickly. The room is described as lovely, spotless and relaxing, and one reviewer suggests booking ahead because it was busy midweek. The food does not satisfy everyone. One reviewer found the onion bhajis dry, reheated and at least a day old, with a disappointing naan and a bland curry. Another found brightly coloured sauces with heat but no authentic flavour. One reviewer felt portions looked small, and another found street parking limited. One diner who usually finds Indian food heavy finished a full meal and left pleasantly full, and another enjoyed a chocolate mousse topped with little Rolo chocolates.

“This is the first time we had been. The staff were very attentive and quick to bring drinks and food. The food itself was the best either of us can repeat an Indian. Even the poppadoms were phenomenal and not at all greasy. The main courses were a great size and the taste is still making my mouth water. The venue itself is also well laid out and relaxing. It was pretty busy even for a mid week night so probably book ahead if possible. Thank you”

“Good atmosphere, welcoming staff, attentive service. Disappointing food. Brightly coloured sauces lacking in flavour. Heat but no authentic flavour.”

“£30 for a starter and main would be fine if the food was good. Onion baghees were at least a day old, dry and reheated. Naan bread wasn't much better. Curry was bland. Overall, food was poor”
