  “Was here unfortunately for a wake after my Brother in laws funeral. Very lovely place and great staff who really looked after all of us. Set which I believe on an old golf course with beautiful walks. Now I guess its just used as a restaurant and bar. Well worth a visit if you are passing.”

  “I booked a table, turned up early, to be told my table was just being finished. I asked which was my table, the one by the door to the toilets, which was already completely set and had a reserved sign. The restaurant was relatively empty. I asked if we could sit at a different table, because I didn't like where I was allocated, to be told all other tables were reserved. Like mine! I explained that the reserved sign clearly means the table is booked. There was a window table and several others within the seating area with reserved on them. I explained that any other table would be fine, just not near the busy entrance to the toilets. I was told I could not move somewhere else and that the window table had been requested. This was the first I'd heard of "requesting a specific table" when making a booking. I said this option is not available when booking online, to be told, by a rather red faced young waitress, that I had to ring up to ask for a window seat. I wasn't asking for the window table, just any table other than mine. The waitress said no. To add insult to injury, the other "allocated" tables were not occupied for over an hour after we arrived. I feel, that after many visits and meals to this restaurant, including twice this month, the waitresses were very unaccommodating and even quite rude. With that in mind, I will not be recommending your facilities any more, nor visiting.”

  “First visit - sat in the outside seating area. Delicious breakfast. Delicious decaf coffee. Would recommend this place. Service was good, great views, ample parking and will certainly be returning.”

  “Brought my mum for first time last week, the sun was shining we sat outside, beautiful food, amazing staff incredible views, just lovely, highly recommended! Carla and Sam were amazing!!!! Will be back very soon!”

  “Lovely venue with huge glass windows and a fantastic view, from almost all tables. Seating outside, the ambiance is lovely with everything new, very comfy seats, and a contemporary feel. food covers all bases, from a light lunch, to a more formal meal, very reasonably priced. Service was very polite and efficient. Recommend the goats cheese quiche and the roast peach salad.”

  “We have been to Mount Pleasant View a few times and have always been impressed. The food is lovely, the staff are brilliant and the view if you sit outside is beautiful on a sunny day. Shout out to Sam who is always friendly and is fabulous with my little girl when we go there.”

  “We visited MPV this weekend just gone and have to say what a lovely place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the view is stunning especially in the sunshine. The food was hot and delicious with a great atmosphere. We Will absolutely be recommending MPV to friends and family. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you Carla, Sam and the team”

  “Popped in for a breakfast and had a great experience. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well-presented and well priced. The view is lovely, and it’s a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Great to see that dogs are allowed—will definitely be popping back in when I'm out on a dog walk!”

  “We went here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. It was like finding a hidden gem. Really good food, we had the full breakfast, French toast, sausage bun and egg hush. All delicious and good portions. Very friendly staff and beautiful setting looking out on the green. Can highly recommend, and we will definitely be back soon.”

  “Gorgeous Course, really well maintained. Exceptionally kind and friendly locals and members. And staff too. Thoroughly enjoyed our golf, and although my score didn't do it justice my pal hit the round of his life. Happy days! 😎”
