  “Granello Lounge is a great restaurant serving some really tasty food. We had the burgers and the lamb koftas, and both were super good. There’s also lots of variety on the menu, so there should be something for everyone. The restaurant is decorated nicely and has a relaxed feel to it. You can choose to sit either indoors or outdoors, which is a nice option depending on the weather. The staff and servers were all very kind throughout our visit, and the service was friendly from start to finish. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the toilets were clean and tidy. Booking a table online was quick and easy as well. Overall, a really good restaurant with tasty food, friendly staff and good value for money. I’d definitely come back.”

  “We ate lunch here last Friday I am Gluten Free and struggle to find food to eat Result a wonderful lunch cooked by chef Izzy and a great waiter in Tom . I had the chicken burger with advocado beautifully presented and tasted amazing ❤️”

  “Visited here for the first time on Wednesday 1st July 2026 late morning time. As soon as you entered, you had such a wonderful array of photographs and such a wonderful scenic interior. When ordering the two coffees that myself and my wife had, along with the cake we shared, the barista behind the counter was very friendly and served us quickly. As well as ordering at the counter you can also order by the app. I ordered just a standard latte, which was extremely tasty and had a lot of flavour. My wife ordered a standard latte with gingerbread syrup in. She throughly enjoyed it as well. To go with our coffees, we ordered a slice of banana Biscoff loaf. I’ll tell you now that was absolutely wonderful and the sponge was so moist and decadent. The surroundings as I said was scenic and have wonderful array photographs. They have tables and chairs here to sit down and have as it is classified as a restaurant. You can also sit down on a table and chairs, and I think in one area they have a sofa. Will definitely be coming back again.”

  “We had a wonderful lunch as a family here. I had the Dan Dan noodles with fried chicken while my wife took the avocado brunch and daughters had the cheesy toasties. Noodles and toasties were super tasty and would order again. My wife however was a bit disappointed with her avocado brunch as it didn’t have much flavor and was hard to cut.”

  “Fantastic, friendly, and professional service from all the front-of-house staff on shift this afternoon. The two ladies and the male chef were welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate my requested changes and creating an amazing lunch. My son also thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast. Highly recommended!”

  “I was in Hitchin and needed something to eat and drink whilst I hung around between appointments. Whilst walking into town I saw Granello Lounge and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The layout is good and quite cosy, customer service was very good and the Byron Bay brunch was very tasty. The non alcoholic cocktail I ordered had a lot of ice in it meaning there wasn't much drink but I cannot fault the taste of anything I ordered. It was excellent in terms of the flavours. Ordering was very simple either ordering via the QR code or at the bar. Service was quick and the main host who served me was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Granello Lounge and I would return based on this experience.”

  “Each time we come to Granello Lounge we are amazed at the freshness, vibrant food and drink they offer. We have never been disappointed. The food always brings a smile to our faces. The environment is warming and inviting All the servers and chefs do a fantastic job in making this wonderful place, our GO TO restaurant. Visit Granello Lounge, you too won't be disappointed.”

  “I love this place and always call in for lunch with my elderly Mum whenever I come to Hitchin. As a vegan, I'm so happy to have so many options to choose from. Today I had the Iraqi flatbread with sweet potato and all sorts of deliciousness - I could have licked the plate clean! The freshly squeezed orange juice was a treat too. I love the slightly eccentric decor and the atmosphere which is relaxed and friendly. The daytime clientele is wonderfully mixed - there are mums with babies, families with children, elderly people, people working on their laptops, people with dogs ... everyone is welcome. The staff are very efficient but relaxed and considerate. My favourite place to eat in Hitchin and good value for money too. Thank you! Lynn.”

  “Service was great. Food was great. Had a buddah bowl with chicken and then three tapas (Korean prawn, squid and chicken done garlic style). The stand out dish was the Korean prawn. It was sensational. I’d have eaten a bucket full of that. More more more please. Make it into some sort of a main course for me please! This is a growing chain of restaurants and I’ve been to a couple of others before this review. I’ve always come away pleased. Today was no different. I had a pint of orange juice (fresh) and lemonade and it hit the spot. Will go again (to the chain) and this place specifically was good. Good for families and friends and groups.”
