Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often describe a friendly, lively community pub where the landlady and staff give a warm welcome and people are having fun. Pool and darts are named as draws, along with a great pint of Guinness and every football game shown. One reviewer calls it a great place for families and kids. Food draws mixed accounts: two reviewers praise the pizza, one calling it the best in Hatfield, while another says there is no food, only drinks and games. One reviewer found the acoustics unflattering for the music and the customer service lacking. Two others raise serious complaints. One reports being told to leave and never come back after asking to use the toilet, attributing it to a Polish accent. Another reports sharp remarks about racism from the owner behind the bar and says they would not go again.

“I went there and asked if I could use the toilet, which I went into after the bartender weirdly gestured me towards it. After about 5 minutes I hear knocking on the door of my cubicle telling me to get out and leave. As I went to the bar and asked what the issue was I was told to get out and never come back again. I guess my polish accent wasn't a welcome trait in this establishment.”
