  “This cafe has become my regular for a lovely breakfast, brunch or lunch. It’s family friendly as well as lovely for a lunch date. The menu offering is great and the food never misses. They have been consistent with their service, food and quality. Highly recommended!”

  “Lovely breakfast. Portions are good and I felt full afterwards. I would recommend the Meopham brunch and the corn fritarters were surprisingly delicious. Service was attentive. Prices are reasonable. Would happily go again.”

  “Wow, simply wow! This establishment recently popped up into my IG feed. The pictures looked great but how good could it really be? I read the stellar reviews, poured over the menu and analysed the pictures. It looked amazing and bougie but would it live up to the hype? I've been to many a place that looks epic but when you scratch beneath the surface, the experience can feel hollow and pretensious. Cafe Lounge is not that place and truly is the real deal. We couldn't book a table for Valentines Day but turned up on the Saturday just after ten am as they had suggested over the phone. By luck, we got a table in the corner right next to a brace of heart balloons that decorated the cafe. Service was friendly and attentive and we ordered a Pistachio white hot chocolate, a white hot chocolate, Jammy Eggs, the loaded croissant and the tiramisu French toast. The drinks arrived first and were delicious. Warm, sweet and tasty. And then the breakfast dishes appeared. So well presented, so visually delicious, so hunger inducing. And the presentation was matched and surpassed with the quality of the food. The creamy mushrooms were fabulous, the eggs cooked to perfection and the locally sourced sausage amazingly meaty. And as for the loaded croissant, it was insane. A plethora of quality items coming together in a fusion of taste that delighted and excelled in every single mouthful. We were stuffed but I couldn't pass up on one of the sweet treats and the tiramisu French toast did not disappoint. It looked big, thick and heavy but it was light, like a profiterole and the volumnious chantilly cream sat perfectly atop it. The coffee flavouring was subtle and the presentation impeccable as we'd come to expect. We asked for some water to cleanse the palette and that arrived in a chilled bottle with some fruit within it to just 'step that up' a bit. I truly could not have been more happy with the whole experience. The table, the quick but not rushed service, the taste, the presentation and the atmosphere. From the outside, this looks like a humble little cafe but inside is producing food that puts many top flight restaurants to utter shame. Every single penny of the fairly priced bill was thoroughly deserved and paid with 100% satisfaction. The quality of ingredients really shines through and I literally cannot wait to visit this place again to sample some of the other delicious creations from their exciting menu. I know this all sounds gushy and hyperbolic but this has to be one of the best dining experiences that I've ever had for both the lack of pretension and abundance of excellence on display. Get yourself down there as quickly as you can before this gem turns into a Kentish treasure.”

  “I visited Cafe Lounge with my daughters for a special Mother’s Day brunch treat, and we had a really lovely experience from start to finish. The café itself has a nice, clean and simple ambience. It feels relaxed and welcoming, which makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. We had made a booking in advance, which I would definitely recommend, especially on busy occasions like Mother’s Day. When we arrived, we were seated promptly, which was great because the café was very busy and there were several people waiting to be seated. Despite how busy it was, the staff remained organised and attentive. Our orders were taken in good time and the wait for the food wasn’t too long considering how full the café was. When the food arrived, everything tasted really nice and was clearly freshly prepared. The drinks were also excellent — I especially enjoyed the smoothie, which was lovely and refreshing. The customer service was really good throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, polite and made us feel welcome even during such a busy service. Overall, we had a really enjoyable visit and it was a perfect way to spend Mother’s Day with my daughters. I would definitely return and would happily recommend it to others looking for a nice brunch spot in the Meopham area.”

  “We visited the cafe lounge on a Monday mid-morning for a brunch and surprisingly it was quite busy. We did not have to wait too long, just roughly 20min. So it's recommended to reserve a table, although I have found the service quick and efficient and the turn around was quick. The Meopham brunch was really delicious and beautifully presented. The cafe it self is quite on a small size with not much space between the tables. There was a noisy atmosphere. Recommended”

  “Came here for a Wednesday lunch after hearing really good things and it did not disappoint. Friendly, welcoming and attentive service. Food was delicious with good portion sizes. Had the Meopham brunch which was very tasty and create your own breakfast where the beef and pork sausages were high quality. Cappuccino was very nice as was the bueno hot chocolate. Will be back to try more of the menu, especially the French toast which looks very good. Parking is restricted, even with the car park at the rear so recommend allowing for this if you have made a reservation. When we left around 1430 people were waiting for spaces.”
