“Have to say really nice fish compared to most others in Gravesend . Large portions and staff are attentive. Had to reduce rating as visited there tonight before their closing time, but they were closing and unable to cook anything ( supposedly they were the one fish and chip shop in the area whose friars had overheated ) first rule if business , unless it's an emergency open according to your opening hours. Not doing so is disrespectful to your customers.”

“Absolutely shocking experience. Placed an order for fish and chips, everything was accepted as normal, and then after waiting around 40 minutes they finally called to say they *don’t even have a driver available*. Why accept the order in the first place if you can’t deliver it? And why leave customers waiting that long before saying anything? It’s completely unacceptable and a total waste of time. Really poor communication and incredibly unprofessional service. DON'T ORDER HERE UNLESS YOU WANTED TO WASTE YOUR TIME. Avoid at all costs.”

“Absolutely loved this fish and chips shop. The fish is freshly dipped in batter and deep-fried right in front of you, so it comes out hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. It’s takeaway only with no seating, but the quality of the food more than makes up for that. A regular portion of fish and chips costs around £11 as of January 2025. The food was really delicious and neatly packaged in a box, making it easy to enjoy on the go. The staff was very polite and friendly too. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving proper fish and chips. Ps regular chips and large cod costs about 14 pounds”
