Customer Review Summary
The outdoor pods draw the most mention, described as private, warm and cosy, with heaters, air con, music diners can choose themselves and staff who are easy to flag down. One parent whose autistic daughter celebrated her 16th birthday there called it a great blessing. Close behind is the menu mixing Japanese and Chinese dishes, with diners singling out the prawn tempura, seafood gyoza, teppanyaki beef, ribs and satay, and a bento box and salmon platter with tender chicken. One reviewer found onion rings in their teppanyaki but said it worked. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive. Complaints are few but specific: the chicken fried rice was a tad salty, service was slightly slow for one table, and the honey sesame chicken arrived rock solid. The restaurant took that dish off the bill, and a returning diner thanked staff for a rose and loads of balloons.

“This is somewhere we order from quite often, but the food when going there in person, as with every delivery vs sitting in situation, is absolutely worth it. The freshness of the food is great, the chicken in particular is so tender, and the presentation is phenomenal. I've included their bento box and salmon platter as an example. The staff is very sweet and attentive, they make sure you're comfortable and are quite conversational too! Ultimately, this is my favourite place for Japanese! Also, the carrot is shaped like a bird (tori, in japanese) which is beautiful attention to detail.”

“Restaurant is small but nice and cosy with the option of pods outside. Staff are all lovely and friendly and very helpful. Menu's are great offering both Japanese and Chinese which you can mix, I loved this idea. We had a mixture of food including chicken noodle soup, octopus, sushi, curry and chicken fried rice then ice cream with a fried chocolate freddo bar, which my LO loved :) a bit unusual but went down a treat. The only reason for 4 stars was just because we found the chicken fried rice a tad salty but apart from that it was all lovely and will definitely be back again soon!”

“I've been to this restaurant and it's absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic, and the service is impeccable. The girls working there are incredibly efficient – even if there were 200 customers, they'd handle it with ease. The owners are always keeping an eye on everything to make sure it's all running smoothly. I highly recommend it.”

“Visited Yakitori House in East Kilbride and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The menu is huge, but every single dish we tried was absolutely incredible — not one miss. Even the cocktails were insane, some of the best I’ve had! The service was just as impressive — really attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, we’ll definitely be back! 🔥🍢🍸”
