  “We went late on a Sunday evening and, having never been before, weren’t quite sure what to expect. We’d heard great things from people we know, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! The food looked fantastic and tasted even better. The portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to take home — and, honestly, they tasted just as good the following day! What a fantastic place, with great food and extremely fair prices. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “Enjoy it time and time again. I have been coming here on every visit for a few years. Reliably good food, fast, friendly service and good prices. Pre-theatre, regular menu - you’ll get the Glasgow curry and naan you always wanted. And do get pakora and spicy onions, too! Very much looking forward to the next visit, pick-up or delivery.”

  “Excellent food, great taste, very fresh and good portions. Slightly on the pricier side but they make up for it in the massive portions, we both had lamb dishes and it’s the most red meat I’ve had in a curry at a restaurant! And not only that, it was so flavoursome and melted in the mouth. The bhuna was incredible, so much flavour and the naans were huge and also extremely tasty”

  “Excellent food, and service on Valentines day. Not surprisingly v busy but service remained good. My only slight gripe was that my garlic and coriander naan was too greasy! Well worth trying again! Highly recommended!”

  “We have been eating here for years and rarely do we have a bad meal. Portions are plentiful but sometimes through the naan can be a little oily. Potions are big and food always comes out warm. It can be tricky to get a table at the weekend so definitely call ahead. Love the staff, friendly and welcoming.”

  “Best India ever. What an atmosphere. I love it. So friendly and relaxing. I would give you 5 stars all the way, but don't want to ask for water 3 times or re-order my wine twice. But I pulled it out the bag for my friends 50th. So thank you all for an amazing time . And actually it's 5 stars all round. Just love it here. Keep doin what you do.”

  “After a long walk around Rouken Glen pond and waterfall,this was avery welcome first time visit to this most excellent restaurant.I am a very big fan of asian food and have visited many of Glasgow's finest.This restaurant ranks very highly with the best of them.Firstly, staff are excellent. So friendly and welcoming.I can never understand,anyone working in a restaurant,who does not want to have friendly interaction with clientele.It encourages customers to return and makes your time at work more enjoyable⁸ and interesting. No problems with that in this restaurant.Food is a joy, excellent quality dishes, well presented.I have always thought presentation is the first thing that catches the eye of the diner. Secondly comes flavour.Does it taste like it should?⁹At Turban it certainly does.Tonight we had a two course feast (portions are ample) with poppadums and really tasty Paratha.We drank only water, which all came in at a modest £42 for two.I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.Advance bookings are preferable,though staff will do their utmost to accommodate walk in customers as we were this evening.Thank you Turban for a most enjoyable culinary experience.”
