About Kam Wa
Kam Wa is a Chinese restaurant at 746 Pollokshaws Rd in Glasgow. The menu pairs salt and chilli chicken balls and salt and chilli chips with curry sauce, which can be ordered with rice or chips, so one order can combine a fried dish with a sauce and a choice of base. Fried rice and noodle dishes, including Singapore chow mein and thin noodles, are also on the menu for anyone who wants a different base. Orders can be placed in person at the restaurant, and rice and chips remain the two choices that go with the curry sauce.

Customer Review Summary
Salt and chilli dishes, chicken and chips alike, are what reviewers return to most, with the chicken balls and honey chilli chicken named alongside fried rice, Singapore chow mein, thin noodles, prawn curry and chicken noodle soup. Curry sauce comes up repeatedly too, and several describe food that arrived hot and fast, with delivery called very quick. A few long-time customers say it has been their household takeaway for years. Staff are described as polite and friendly by some, but the complaints are specific. One longtime customer says a curry was like water and that a delivery driver was rude. Another says an elderly server shouted after being told of a card limit when buying curry sauce. One reviewer found a shredded chicken dish far too spicy and only lukewarm on arrival, and another says the fried rice tasted a week old and the chicken had a strange colour and flavour. One reviewer was glad the person serving read the order back, confirming the boiled rice.

“I ordered deep fried breast of chicken curry & rice with curry sauce; it came earlier than expected (less than 5 minutes instead of 10) , and I thought I mighta forgotten to say boiled rice, but the person serving read my order back when it arrived, - - - - so I knew I hadn't forgotten to ask about the rice, and I didn't have to ask them if I'd forgotten to say which rice when the food was ready.”
