“I grew up with this place since I was 8 till now at 36. They have sold over from the old golden bowl but it’s nice to see a familiar face still with Maureen still being there. Unfortunately though I will never be back in on a Saturday night or any night the black/chinese English man is on the desk taking orders. His arrogant demeanour and passive aggressive attitude not once but twice to me and my mother. I swore the first time if he speaks to me in that manner again I will walk out and withhold service. That I did. I eat out here almost 3x a week and so does my mother. The girl who usually works the desk is an asset and knows what she’s doing. You’re dammed if I will be disrespected for some fried rice! There’s plenty more takeaways.”
