  “Takeaway only. Reasonable prices, tasty meals every time. Never been disappointed. Can recommend chicken in garlic and oyster sauce, beef and cashew is another favourite of ours !!! Peking duck with pancakes, carefully prepared and tasty. House Special Fried rice is very good too. !! We have tried lots of other dishes too, they are always delicious. Generous portion of BBQ ribs. We also love Dannys salt and chilli chips, they are very flavoursome and a generous portion.”

  “Weve been looking for a good chinese takeaway for ages and we find this one is very good. The food is lovely and akways piping hot. Tonight i got the chicken in garlic and chilli. I asked if it was cooked in batter, he told me no, but would cook it in batter. Same price. Find the staff are lovely. Prices are good. Has a high Gateshead Council rating for hygiene. Apparantly has been open for years which speaks for itself. Would defo recommend.”

  “You have cost yourselves a loyal customer tonight with the Wednesday night special the chips were dry and overcooked the fried rice was like sticky mush and the chicken was tasteless it's went in the bin 14 pound down the drain”

  “Mine & my partners local Chinese & we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Very good pricing, amazing quality & always very quick and happy to serve. Been coming here for 10+ years now and never a bad experience!”

  “Had my first takeawsy here tonight had the curry 11. It was delicious best chinese i have had in absolutely ages. Portions big and everything fresh. Came super quick as well. Really happy would definitely recommend”

  “First time for me. Never had so big, tasty, loads of prawns and so much great meat, in a house special chow mien. Absolutely spot on. Ate far too much cos it was so nice 😊”

  “Would recommend! I'm New to the area and all the Chinese places have been rotten so far, so I tried Danny's kitchen today and have finally found a lush Chinese. Between us we go chicken batter balls, 4 meat in Cantonese sauce and a chicken fried rice. It was all really good”

  “Everyone has their own chinese takeaway preference, depending on what you prefer to order and where the chef originates. Danny's has been going for years and this speaks volumes why it's often very busy. In over two decades using this takeaway, we've only had three issues where part of the order was missing. On each occasion the oversight was rectified to our satisfaction without quibble. Staff are really knowledgable and friendly. Unlike some places, they clarify the price and time it'll take to fulfil the order. The quality of ingredients, menu options and portions stand out. They have delivery options but it's cash only, as most chinese establishments are. Try it, you are unlikely to be disappointed.”

  “Ordered the Munchie Box from Danny’s and it was definitely one of the best I’ve had, portion sizes were great, chicken was a bit tough but I’m assuming it’s probably pre-cooked and then warmed through again (Most takeaways will do this), I can’t comment on the ribs as I ordered without them but the rest of the food in the box was great alongside their tasty curry sauce which unlike most places didn’t come with a skin over the top. All in all, definitely the new local Chinese I’ll be using!”

  “Pictures don't do it justice, I won't order anywhere else and drive from Sunderland for this bad lad and even got my mam eating here too, boxes are bigger than the look, just absolutely delicious 😋”
