  “A very disappointing meal. We tried Lucky House because our usual Friday night takeaway was closed and we figured 4.2 stars meant it would be good. We ordered: 1x Munchin box 1x Currys, chips and fried rice 1x Egg Foo Young The portions were a good size and the lady behind the counter was nice enough but the food was not. The fried chicken in the Munchin box was horrid, the BBQ ribs lacked flavour and the spicy chips were more salt than potato. The curry, chips and fried rice was fairly bland and, again, very salty. And lastly the Egg Foo Young was burnt. Disappointed and we won't be going back.”

  “Been with them for years never had no problems .suddenly there delivery drivers don't want to give you change , want to pocket it instead . Got half my order when I complained they were suppose to send me the other half. Never received it . Honestly disappointed in all the years I been with them , that the service is shocking . Taking over an hour also to be delivered . Then gets a reply back saying they been to busy to resend rest of my order . Your a joke”

  “1 star at best very disappointing rice was like warm when it arrived I ordered house special curry meat was terrible got 2 prawns an chips were over cooked rock hard an order took 1hr 22mins to arrive after I rang to complain terrible place order at your own peril”

  “Ordered here a few times after googling a good takeaway, hot tasty food, had a few different orders all been really nice, delivery sometimes is quicker than expected, which is a bonus A*, fair price recommended.”

  “Just ordered a takeaway for my mam and myself...it's absolutely beautiful!! Can't fault it...came boiling hot love this Chinese takeaway..the set meal for 1 is brilliant and they let you change the soup for prawncrackers if you want...honey spareribs are gorgeous salt and pepper chips also the wontons 🤤”

  “After coming highly recommended can't say I was that impressed. Tried two different meals and they weren't anything to write home about. Waited an hour for delivery and when it turned up it was warm. Overall not bad but nothing special.”

  “My first order was a special chow mein which was lovely and returned this evening for a special curry and fried rice. I really can't fault the food here, counter staff are covid savvy, masked and behind a screen (not that I'm worried but it may assure some) and the whole process of ordering and collection was seamless and professional. This is now my go-to Chinese takeaway.”

  “I love this takeaway and order regularly. Never been disappointed. The fact it is listed as a "Local legend" by JustEat proves its reputation. How it only achieves a 3.9 rating on Google beggars belief; Trust Pilot rates it 4.9.”

  “Hi, I've used you for years but my order tonight was terrible... i paid extra for yeung chow fried rice and it was dripping with oil same with the chowmein... The rice had no prawns or chicken only fatty bits of pork. For £19 it was a disgrace, i had to chuck out, i've never had a bad meal from you guys until tonight this was terrible!”
