  “We have one every month but the portion size is now terrible. There very small compared to what they used to be…… why make them smaller……. I would say charge more but you have done that to…….. me & my husband was left starving with our meal that usually feels us both up. Sorry to say we won’t be coming again portion size is terrible……… go back to the tubs you used to use there was no complaints………”

  “Used to go to golden for years but had a few bad meals so changed. Decided to give them another go and what a mistake. Food was cold and the sweet and sour sauce was horrid and lacked a sweet or sour taste. Never again what a waste of £25.”

  “Golden boat for the last 6 months I’ve seen so much change to the food quality and size what’s going on? I know your a business and need to earn money but you have cut back on everything Why is food being filled incredibly smaller tubs I would say it’s at least half the size as your old tubs (very crafty) we have measured this so it’s facts? there a quite a few reviews saying the same things we can’t all be wrong can we? do you not take note of your paying customers or just don’t care ?”

  “Well this Chinese has upped the price and made the food shrink. Your curry’s are only big enough for 1 person now. Any other curry house around 5 mile location has bigger take away pots that you can share with another person but yours have got very very smaller. Works out a very expensive Chinese due to them shrinking portion sizes be aware ………”

  “Honestly don't know why everyone's complaining, only ever once had an issue with the delivery but that was on me/ a miscommunication with the phrasing on the websites order updates. Best chinese food I've EVER had, if they were to change the salt and pepper chicken recipe i would be heartbroken. Service is speedy despite my large orders, but i can't comment on the atmosphere as i have never ordered in person. 9/10 would absolutely recommend”

  “It’s probably the worst I’ve ever experienced I ordered plain chow mein on the delivery notes pacifically specified NO VEG because my wife’s allergic to the bean sprouts oh and it comes with veg so I called them up and requested a new one to be told you ordered it with NO EGG sorry egg in chow mein am I mistaken since when does it come with egg in chow mein I said check the form again and the lady said oh yeah my fault it does say NO VEG . lady working on Mondays was quite rude , abrupt refusing to change my whole order even after I said the food would be cold by the time you delivered new chow mein to me. At this point I’m Beyond p off I asked for full refund to be told you will have to wait about two days as I have to speak with the manager and he’s not here because he’s the only one allowed to do it.omg my wife absolutely fuming at this point raging in the background I’m telling you know I will never be ordering from here again ever The only thing that was possibly the most satisfying was how lovely the delivery lady was bless her she couldn’t be more apologetic to us even took her time to say hi to my youngest daughter and do 67 with her shame the order taker was as nice as her maybe if she was the business would run abit better and smoother”

  “When we were in there last, people were phoning up chasing their delivery orders. Women behind the counter told one customer that their delivery would be 15 minutes. I'm not sure how she knew this, the kitchen didn't tell her. Another customer phoned in a few minutes later, their food was an hour late being delivered. She told them that they were waiting for drivers to come back to send their food out.There were two drivers stood at the end of the counter chatting to her between phone calls and collections. Such a shame as the food is great.”

  “Had the shredded beef, BBQ ribs and spring rolls. Was ready 10 mins after I ordered it to collect and was nice and hot. Looked very nice and tasted great. I shall order from hear again next time.”
