  “We had a lovely meal early evening yesterday. The food was lovely. The staff very friendly and the manager was very helpful and very obligation as one of my rings slipped off as I was washing my hands. .i asked the manager for help he went to a lot of trouble and to take the pipe off the handbasin to get my ring back for me it took some time . He got it out cleaned it up. very apologetic and friendly .It was a very pleasant evening . Good food friendly service and very helpful stall. Thank you. Again Marie . Would definitely recommend the restaurant. .”

  “So wish I had taken pictures as we loved our meal so much we forgot. The staff well very friendly and attentive and the decor was warm and comfortable. And now the best bit - the food. Great intensive menu with a large variety of pasta, pizza, risotto and meat and fish dishes. My husband and I have spent several years travelling over the whole of Italy for months on end and think this is a fantastic Italian in Exeter and will very much look forward to my next visit.”

  “We visited for my son’s birthday. What a wonderful experience. The hostess was fabulous! Professional and so friendly, joining in with our banter. The food was exceptional - every course was absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was faultless. Thank you for making our evening special and we will definitely be returning and spreading the word!”

  “Really really good food! Genuinely one of the best meals I've had in Exeter. It was busy this evening so service was a little slow but the top tier garlic bread (better than we had in Italy) kept us going and the mains were well worth the wait. Georgie gave us great service and Sacha the manager was apologetic about the wait and very friendly too. We were too full for dessert but we are 100% going back for that another time!”

  “Il Grano is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Devon and my absolute go-to restaurant whenever I want a fantastic meal. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff who always make you feel genuinely welcome and looked after. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons I keep coming back. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Exeter, you won’t find better than Il Grano Exeter. Highly recommended! 🍝🇮🇹❤️”

  “I came here with my family the other day for a pre-Christmas meal and we were very impressed. Lovely, attentive staff, beautiful decorations, food was delicious and worth the price. The only issue was parking because it was such a popular place meaning the car park was full. Will be coming here again in the future.”

  “The hostess was incredible! Such personal service and attention that it really made our visit so special. The food was amazing as well at really great value for the quality. The lighting and atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly with no pressure to leave quickly. We'll definitely be coming back, it's really hard to find places like this!”
