  “We had a fantastic experience at The Boston Bar in Edinburgh! The food was excellent, we tried the wings and the spice bag, and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were really good, and the service was outstanding. A special mention to Charlotte, who looked after us. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and funny, and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! Thank you for a great time!”

  “Had such a fun time at Boston Bar (New Town) for the World Cup final! Our server Jose was very attentive and professional seeing to all our needs aptly. Drinks were beautifully presented shout out to our bartenders Illy, Charlotte, Catie and Lily! We had a small hiccup with our table booking but it was quickly and professionally resolved by both managers on duty (James and James, LOL). Fantastic food and drinks as well will definitely be visiting again!!! Five stars all round👍🏼✨❤️”

  “Called in on a Tuesday late afternoon as I was waiting for my partner to finish his theory test. Spent many hours here as the atmosphere / cocktail list was unbelievable! Had to try the brisket fries also ( the portion was enormous !! ) - food is also phenomenal. Massive shout out to James and Lily, extremely helpful on choosing our drinks and recommending lots of different cocktails for us. Originally from Northern Ireland, so lovely to be in the ' Irish Craic ' 💗”

  “Had halloumi burger and chips. Very good flavour and fresh. A whiskey and Guiness to watch darts. Also a live musician on guitar and singing. Our server was very attentive. Pretty loud but a pretty good evening.”

  “Had a brilliant time at The Boston Bar! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the cocktails were spot on. The food was really good too, with generous portions and everything fresh and full of flavour. Service was quick even when it was busy, and the whole place had such a fun vibe. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Edinburgh for drinks and a catch-up with friends. Will definitely be back!”

  “Stumbled upon The Boston Bar completely by chance last night, and we are so glad we did! The atmosphere was fantastic with great live music. Service was top-notch and the staff were really attentive. Their cocktails are seriously good—I had an Old Fashioned and it totally exceeded my expectations. For food, we got burgers, which were exactly what a good burger should be: no fuss, just delicious. We also tried the mac and cheese; I’m no expert, but it tasted great to me. A perfect spontaneous night out. Highly recommend!”

  “Came for the first time with a group of friends for my birthday. Had the spice bag which I shared with a friend. Was yummy. Great atmosphere. We sat down stairs. Good selection of cocktails. Loved the live music.”

  “Found this place through TikTok and decided to take my father-in-law for his birthday. Was seated downstairs and the vibe was 10/10. Staff were SO friendly and welcoming. Playlist was decent too - not too many Christmas songs. Food was unreal. We couldn’t decide what we wanted so we ended up ordering a few dishes. Best nachos I’ve ever had. Both my partner and his dad said that their Guinness’ were the best they’ve ever had. Will definitely be back and hopefully get to catch some live music next time. I would recommend booking a table in advance. First Saturday of December early afternoon was very busy so I can only imagine later in the day would be even busier and wait times a bit longer. Bonus points for having the f1 qualifying and start of f2 on the tv too!!”
