Customer Review Summary
Sunday lunch is what reviewers raise most at Crinnions, with one calling it among the best they have had and another praising a lamb dinner followed by cheesecake, plus big portions that arrived quickly and piping hot. Close behind are the mixed grill, the bolognaise parmo, the gammon steak and a dirty burger, which diners call delicious and homemade, with one saying the place delivers both quality and quantity. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and the pub is called cosy, with a warm bar area, live music on weekends and a Wednesday quiz. One family held a child's birthday party in the courtyard and said the kitchen and staff went above and beyond. The main complaint comes from a lunch visit that was slow with only two staff on the floor. A requested swap of ham and cheese came out as cheese and onion, and the reviewer overheard the chef make a dismissive remark about ordering off the menu, which they called unprofessional. One diner also found the portions a little large.

“Lovley food and very friendly staff, without a doubt the best Sunday lunch (and pub) in Lanchester - food came quickly and was piping hot, very big portions and well presented. I will definitely be back, highly recommend to anyone!”

“Fantastic staff, amazing food and loads of entertainment. I attend regularly for the Wednesday quiz hosted by Paul Innes Magic Man which is thoroughly enjoyable. I have recently also started getting food and can honestly say it's delicious. Really friendly, welcoming atmosphere and really well run establishment.”

“Waitress was lovely and very helpful. Food was standard lunch menu. I asked if I could swap the ham and peas pudding for ham and cheese, but was given cheese and onion instead, despite hearing the waitress ask for ham and cheese (no issues with this just asked for a bit of ham to pop in as mistakes can happen). What was disappointing was overhearing the chef say, “If she ordered something from the actual fing menu, I wouldn’t f it up.” Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. A shame, as the waitress was excellent. Service was pretty slow but not the girls fault as they were only 2 of them.”

“Had my child’s 4th birthday party in courtyard, had amazing my service from staff and kitchen.. Food was incredible and went above and beyond to help set up.. All guests complimented the venue as it’s great for adults and kids. Would definitely recommend for parties or just everyday food and drinks.. plus entertainment on evenings and holidays make it a great night out for all couples and families.. Thanks you again Crinnions”
