  “We booked our table for 3pm and arrived just after 2, they accommodated without hesitation. Our drinks and meal was served promptly with a smile every course. We even took a doggy bag home as we didnt finish our main, because we wanted desert.”

  “Ok arrived and met by great guy. Order taken but confusion on our part as my husband ordered his main and forgot about his starter so that was ordered after main at the same time. My steak arrived well over done definitely not medium rare. Husbands main arrived. My steak sent back. Another one arrived. Ok but not fantastic. Charged £1.50 for mustard! Really? Husband's starter arrived half way through his main course. Staff are lovely. Especially the young server who came and apologised for the confusion. The lady (who I believe is italian) was very attentive as was our greeting gentlemen. Not impressed with my food but...my husband rated his”

  “What a gem this place is. We’re from out of town but booked a table on the advice online and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic, fast, delicious food that we had to box up and take away as our eyes were bigger than our bellies :) Will happily return every time we’re back in town”

  “Great value and a favourite with the kids. Service always very friendly and efficient. Updated review. Back for another birthday. Monday night and place was buzzing which speaks volumes. Fantastic service, great food and great value. Upgraded from a few 4 stars to 5 stars across the board. Consistency like this deserves nothing less. These guys probably had a super busy weekend so to deliver this on a busy Monday is impressive Update after a return visit Busy Sunday lunch but yet again brilliant. Excellent service and wonderful food.”

  “While staying at a nearby hotel, we were looking for a restaurant and managed to find Lucas Kitchen. We love Italy food . This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. The service was very nice, food-delicious. We couldn't decide what to eat, but everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly presented. Definitely we are come back here if we are in the area.”

  “went for a lovely meal with my boyfriend yesterday and it was delicious!! the waiters were very friendly and amazing service, we ordered the spaghetti bolognese and it was out of this world, as were the desserts and homemade ice cream. would definitely visit again and 100% recommend, the lunch menu is amazing value as well.”

  “Been meaning to go here for years and I'm glad I finally did! Highly recommend the mushroom tagliatelle, very flavourful and creamy. The pizza was amazing, dough was fluffy but crispy and that nice chewy way and the sauce/toppings were so good! We also had the calamari which was really nice. Want to also add that the service was amazing! Despite it being a busy night, staff were quick, attentive and all smiles 😊 they did bring out the wrong side but quickly fixed that and the waiter checked in with us to advise it'll be out soon which was much appreciated! Was too full to get dessert but I'm sure it'll be just as great as the mains. Amazing service and food!”
