Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the multi-course taster menu, either the 10 course dinner or the lunch set meal that works like tapas, with each course described as different and a way to sample regional Indian cooking. Diners praise food that is expertly spiced for taste rather than just heat, and one calls the chicken the most succulent they have had. The Shahi Paneer gets singled out, and the mains arrive with paratha, chapati, a large bowl of rice and masala chips. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and knowledgeable, explaining each course as it arrives and guiding diners on allergies. A vegetarian diner was given a vegetarian version of the taster. The main criticism comes from one vegetarian reviewer, who found the chickpeas mushy on a second visit and asked for a vegetarian only thali and more vegetarian mains. Another notes the mains are not huge after seven starters. Several celebrate occasions here, with an anniversary dessert from the head chef and a birthday cupcake sung to the table.

“This was the 2nd time visiting Dhoom with my wife and we have now tried two different 10 course taster menus. On both occasions they were outstanding. So many different flavours and textures. Staff were very knowledgeable about everything being served and also very friendly. Furthermore when they discovered it was our anniversary, the head chef Prasad came over with a celebratory desert which was lovely and thoughtful. Would highly recommend.”

“Came in for birthday dinner. We both ordered from the taster menu, I mentioned I'm a vegetarian and they said I was was able to get the vegetarian option of the menu which was amazing. The staff were great, they were describing the food at it came out. I'd 100% go back again. They even got a little cupcake and sang happy birthday, it was amazing”

The food is great, the atmosphere of the place is awesome and the service is up there with some of the best.
