About Rios Pizza Doncaster
Rios Pizza Doncaster is a pizza restaurant at 49 Montrose Ave in Doncaster, and the menu goes beyond pizza into kebabs and fried chicken. Doner options include a mixed doner and a tray kebab made with doner meat. Fried chicken comes as a chicken box with chips, and the kitchen also does hot wings and breadcrumb-style chicken. Orders can be placed by phone, and the shop counter takes walk-in orders. The restaurant opens daily, in the evenings only.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often fault the chicken and the doner. Several describe the chicken box and hot wings as dry, hardened and frozen-tasting, with breadcrumb pieces rather than proper fried chicken, and the chips as soggy and cold. One says the doner meat was rubbery and dripping with oil, and another received a dry mixed doner without the salad and sauce the menu lists, then was told to request them in the comments. Burnt pizza comes up twice, including a kids pizza, and a few say orders arrived barely warm. Delivery speed and drivers get credit, though one reviewer received a wrong order and waited longer for the replacement. Phone service is described as rude, with calls put down mid conversation, and one customer says a tray kebab was charged above the menu price until the boss was challenged. A lone reviewer praises excellent food and friendly staff, and another calls the pizza nice. One refund was offered by a driver after the order was sent back.

“I have been using this shop for online and collect delivery. They almost always conveniently pretend they forgot whatever drinks you ordered. Last Saturday night I ordered a tray kebab at the shop he charged me £8. It’s on the menu at £5.50. I didn’t challenge as I was in a hurry. So tonight I went to shop got tray kebab meat he charged me £8.50. I paid it and then I called the boss over and challenged him to which he gave me my change and you could tell with all their faces they had been caught out over charging customers. GREED is a disease for some people but I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. my family spends approx £70 a week here.”

“The chicken isn’t proper fried chicken. Me and a mate tried and it was the breadcrumb type you get out the freezer”

“Dry mixed Doner kebab. Says that it comes with salad and sauce but came with neither. When I called the restaurant they said I should have asked for them in comments! Why when it says it already comes with it?? Even the meat not great so straight in the bin”

“Ordered on just eat. The kids pizza was burnt! The chicken box chips were soggy, cold and tasted of cardboard, the chicken were literally frozen chicken pieces, that tasted like they had been warmed up several times, not a wing in sight, tasteless and bone dry. Will not be ordering again. Sorry but guttered that I paid what I did for the really low standard”
