About Munch pizzeria & grill
Munch pizzeria & grill is a halal pizza takeout at 31 Arksey Ln in Doncaster. The menu pairs pizzas with grill food, including a cheese and fried onion burger, and chips can go alongside it. Chicken breast kebabs come with salad and a choice of pitta or bread, which gives the grill side a lighter option next to the burgers. Customer Review Summary
Late delivery is the most common complaint, with reviewers describing orders arriving well past the quoted time, wrong items, and phone lines that go unanswered. One says the order was cancelled without notice after a call insisted it was on its way. Another says the driver swapped a wrong order with food he had dropped at a different house. Food remarks lean negative: a kebab with greasy bread and rubbery meat, burgers covered in raw onion despite being ordered with fried onion, wings with a funny taste and texture, and fries with an odd flavour. A chicken breast kebab reportedly arrived shredded with little meat. Mozzarella sticks got a good word from one diner, one simply calls the food good, and a long-time customer says it was usually spot on before this. Two reviewers say they could not get a resolution, one after being charged twice. One reviewer describes the shop as not very clean. In the cancelled order, the promised callback never came.

“Food was bland and covered in raw onion, even though the burgers were cheese and fried onion. The fries had a very odd taste. I've rarely eaten such tasteless food. I wish I'd noticed their 3 star food hygiene status as I would never have ordered from them. The delivery was a joke, it started out as 45 minutes and ended up being nearly an hour and a half. I'd avoid this place, dreadful. No apologies about how late the delivery was either.”

“Possibly the worst kebab I have ever had.. You could wring the grease out of the bread. The meat was like chewing rubber. the salad was hotter than the meat.. Just the worst food I've had in a long time.. If you love your taste buds find somewhere else to get your kebab from.. Took over an hour for delivery too..so not do fast fast food It's a shame ypu can't leave no stars because even one is one too many”

“I would rate zero if I could!! Taken payment twice from our account and unwilling to resolve, terrible customer service! As a customer for a couple of years and ordering multiple times a month I would at least expect them to resolve! Absolutely shocking. Will not be ordering again. EDIT As a customer I would have expected you to deal with this better than you have. I do not understand how my bank can resolve this when my proof clearly shows that 2 payments have been accepted by you. You sent me a screenshot of a payment received, how do I know that there isn’t 2 screenshots of both payments? There isn’t any proof that the second payment wasn’t received? You have seen proof that 2 payments have been taken by you and then try to blame ‘online’ by saying you haven’t received it. So you are saying my money is just floating somewhere? Money grabbers and not willing to resolve!”
